(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So my PS3 has been on YLOD for about 3 weeks now, and I'm trying to decide if I should buy a new PS3, or get an Xbox 360. So I'm asking the NGU community on their opinions.

Some information first that makes this choice hard:

I already have a large amount of PS3 games, plus an account with stats for a lot of games online with the PS3, but the majority of my friends have an Xbox, so I can't play online with them on the PS3.

So I don't know what to do, if I buy an Xbox I will have to pay for online play, and for all new games, but I will get to play with my friends, plus get features like cross-game chat, the better party system Xbox has, and voice-messages. I don't know if the Xbox features, plus playing with my friends, is worth all the extra money that it would cost to get an Xbox.

Also, you need to pay 40 pound a year, so what. It has a lot more features in online gaming then ps3 so It's worth it.

Anyways, if you've been with PS3 that long, the transition to the Xbox may be difficult. Also, you've obviously spent quite the amount of cash on it, and it would be senseless to give it all up.

There is always the option of selling the PS3 for parts, your PSN, and games for a few extra bucks to get Xbox LIVE and a few arcade games, game add-ons, etc.

I think both of the consoles are equally as great. Both lack features that the other has, both have problems, etc. They're not perfect, but this fanboy war is really stupid. Anyways, if you really love the PS3, stick with it, if you're looking for something new, buy a 360.

If you have spent so much time and money into the ps3 already then you should stick with it. I had recently obtained the YLOD and paid $130 american to get it fixed at a local video game store. It now works like a charm. Plus i managed to save my backwards compatibility Just remember that the ps3 move is going to kick the schnitt out of the xbox kinect!
