(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So my PS3 has been on YLOD for about 3 weeks now, and I'm trying to decide if I should buy a new PS3, or get an Xbox 360. So I'm asking the NGU community on their opinions.

Some information first that makes this choice hard:

I already have a large amount of PS3 games, plus an account with stats for a lot of games online with the PS3, but the majority of my friends have an Xbox, so I can't play online with them on the PS3.

So I don't know what to do, if I buy an Xbox I will have to pay for online play, and for all new games, but I will get to play with my friends, plus get features like cross-game chat, the better party system Xbox has, and voice-messages. I don't know if the Xbox features, plus playing with my friends, is worth all the extra money that it would cost to get an Xbox.

Meh, even I don't believe that last statement, and I'm not a console person. xD I think they're both just gonna be meh when they first come out. As time progresses, though, the technology will most likely improve and video games will probably be 50% motion-sensed.

stick with ps3, as its more secure and hard to hack, like 50%of xbox users are tryhards and use aimbots and jtag to hack and cheat, where as ps3 only about 4% or maybe less know how to hack but it will all be patched soon anyway, so u maybe not have cross game chat, but atleast you will be in fair games and not cheaters

Netflix is pretty much built into the Playstation Store.... We get our fun games on the store too along with psone classics and that.
We don't have crossgame chat, which is probably the only thing the Xbox has over the PS3, Halo is shit so please don't bring that in, who cares if you have millions of 10 year olds on your console, if your ever bored go look through the awards for Uncharted 2 :mudkip:

Blu-Ray isn't anything special... Xbox isn't that loud to begin with, etc.

The best thing about PS3 is the free online playing.

This I agree with. I mean, some of those fanboys are actually decent players, but there's no reason to put OpTiC or EpTiC or whatever in your name... >_<
