(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So my PS3 has been on YLOD for about 3 weeks now, and I'm trying to decide if I should buy a new PS3, or get an Xbox 360. So I'm asking the NGU community on their opinions.

Some information first that makes this choice hard:

I already have a large amount of PS3 games, plus an account with stats for a lot of games online with the PS3, but the majority of my friends have an Xbox, so I can't play online with them on the PS3.

So I don't know what to do, if I buy an Xbox I will have to pay for online play, and for all new games, but I will get to play with my friends, plus get features like cross-game chat, the better party system Xbox has, and voice-messages. I don't know if the Xbox features, plus playing with my friends, is worth all the extra money that it would cost to get an Xbox.

In my opinion you should buy a xbox 360.

I have a ps3 and its FINE and in my country almost everybody has one, but i diceded to buy a xbox 360 bcoz i love the online play(is just awesome!). So I bought one and a week latter a friend of mine bought too, no1 else of our friends has a xbox 360 too, just we, and we love it!

But you are saying that your friends already own it, in my opinion you should buy one and you can trade some of your ps3 games for xbox 360 games or even sell them. Xbox Live 12months you can buy it for 35$ on amazon, or you can even find it in another website cheaper.

Remember: Its your choise, not our.

PS3, i never had an xbox so...

But most ppl i know play on xbox. I think thats one of the major factors in why ppl get xbox.

I myself enjoy a blueray from time to time, and i do like the xmb better then the xbox menu. But on the other hand the xbox is cheaper, i gess thats also a major factor.

If you mainly play multiplayer games, you should get an Xbox 360. It has the better online service, so it will suit your needs.

This is my honest opinion, I'm a PS3 player, but I'm not a fanboy.

my opinion is to get a ps3.it really depends on you whether you sacrifice all your ps3 games or your friends(if you have tons of games in ps3 why dont sell some of them and buy both consoles)

xbox has too many hackers in more games compared to ps3, especially halo and madden. also, it costs 65 dollars a year roughly compared to free on ps3. over time that money adds up. ps3's graphics are better for hd gaming. xbox 360's kick the bucket more often than ps3. i could go on, but ill leave the rest up to your imagination
