What to talk about? Just religion in general?

So your topic for a debate is an undefined, unknown bunch of assumptuous topics that have no concrete foundation, and are pretty much grounded in the whole of trying to make the other guy look bad, and you expect us to go well with it?

Basically what this thread is going to turn into is the infamous "Is there a God" discussion, so I'll just go ahead and kick start it...

I consider myself to be an agnostic atheist... I find it highly unlikely that a deity exists. However, there is no real evidence presented by either side (theists and atheists) that proves or disproves god.

My personal belief.... the timeline of earth dates back billions of years... life forms were here and evolving before the human species or it's predecessors even existed. It wasn't until the human race had advanced, that the issue of "Why are we here" came into play. Every culture has a different explanation, none of which can provide legitimate evidence.


I could go on, but I want to see what others think.

So in a nutshell; There is no evidence to suggest a god exists, so I don't believe in god.

show me a video of god, and then i'll believe him.
