What do you mean cloning anothe human is creating life which is playing god. Hosptiles are were ppl get help for there sickness or injurys. Hosptiles have nothing to do with playing god. Unless your in some weird reglion i dont know about were hosptiles have something to do with god.

I am in no way religious but just find human cloning unethical. To have the possibility of living for many years would be like cheating death and having to watch those around you die if they did not take the same actions. I believe this would just cause to much mental strain on one person.

If that's cheating death, isn't taking painkillers cheating life? Pain is a natural human emotion. By taking painkillers you are manually slowing down receptors in your brain.. which is not a natural thing

Very good debate topic. I feel that it would be meaningless. All it would be doing is creating a duplicate mind that would be very different from the original do to the experiences it would have in its life. I forgot the movie name, but it actually worked by have a society where the same people kept being made over and over again through cloning. It, in the end, meant nothing. I disagree with it on the level it would mean that new minds would not come into the world and bring new advancements, but beyond that its all really pointless.
