Post: Has anyone tried protein shakes?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So has any of you taken protein shakes?? what was your thoughts on them? and what ones did you use? I heard whey are the best.

Muscle does not turn into fat.. ever.. its not possible..

Also, protein and fats (saturated and unsaturated) do not turn into tri-glycerides (Body fat)

The only thing that turns into body fat is carbohydrate. Thats why low carb diets make you lose fat.

If you only ever ate protein and fats you would never gain any bodyfat.. ( you would probably die though :O )

Maybe my wording wasn't exactly right... I still believe what I was told, after taking protein shakes and you stop taking them you will get fat.

Chocolate flavored Whey Protein + Frozen Bananas + Milk = Love.

I usually have it before and/or after workouts.

Or as a meal for when i font feel like eating.

No, really, you won't. Unless you stop training but keep up the same calorie intake.

Some people just get fat as they get old.. It has nothing to do with protein shakes or anything else.. its just an old urban myth..

Haha thats wrong.. You dont get fat.
Whey protein is just protein extracted from milk. You cant get fat from suddenly not having as much protein as you used to.
All protein does is help with the recovery process, with rebuilding muscles..

On a serious note, I'm going to:


- Wake up at 8
- Have a protein shake
- Do some weight
- Go for a bike ride
- Do some weight
- Have another protein shake
- Then game Happy
