So has any of you taken protein shakes?? what was your thoughts on them? and what ones did you use? I heard whey are the best.
Protein shakes aren't like steroids, it's not just you drink them and voila! You get ripped. I work out regularly and a friend of mine has recently gotten obsessed with his body and getting swoll.
This is his daily schedule.
-Wake up, eat Oatmeal with a Whey mix mixed in it.
-3 hours later eat a piece of chicken the size of his wrist with a cup of rice.
-Eat lunch (Chicken sandwich and 8 oz. milk with a fruit)
-Drink "C4" Pre-Workout supplement.
-Work out in football from 1:45 to 2:45.
-Drink "Mass Gainer" afterwards.
-Work out at the gym from 3:15-4:45.
-Eat another serving of chicken and rice or tuna and rice.
-Eat dinner at 7:30.
-Drink a "Casein mix" at 10:00 and go to sleep.
-Repeat, more working out on weekends/breaks.
After doing ALL this for a month and a half, he's gained about 5 pounds, maybe an inch or two on his biceps. All those mixes cost him over $150. He was already in great shape before he started this.
oh and he takes alot of vitamins and supplements.
