Post: Anyone still listen to real music?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Real music, not mainstream garbage. Rap and rock, I love listening to Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, N.W.A, Biggie Smalls, 2pac, Eazy E, Geto Boys, Nirvana, Third Eye Blind, Collective Soul, ACDC, Metallica.. Etc. I hate Lil Wayne, he is such a poser. His music is illiterate bullshit, all he talks about is drugs and money.. Yet people still buy it? It's mostly teenagers that think they're cool because they listen to him. He cannot rap at all, and anyone who thinks he can does not know real rap and what it was meant to be. Feel free to debate..

If you're not listening to music from the 80's/90's then you aren't listening to REAL music

Only mainstream shit I really listen to is Tyler. Other than that I'm listening to JMT, OFWGKTA, MF Doom, Outkast and the rest of the classics. It's pretty sad that every piece of shit album Lil Wayne pumps out will be considered the album of that year. Everytime he raps it sounds like he's having a damn seizure.

Personally, I don't think we should be blaming the artists for the horrible music. They wouldn't be making music if there wasn't a market for it. Blame this newer generation of music deprived morons. I mean if they didn't buy the music, all theses so called "artists" would be out of buisness right? It's kind of sad that music has turned into some sort of marketing scheme in which it's only goal is to make money. Remember when music was made simply for the love of music, for the art? It get's me angry that the music industry has gone to sh*t (well, most of it). Please feel free to add on or respond Smile

- Former TACOTIME77 -
2pac, Apathy, Az, BDP, Benefit, Big L, Big Pun, Binary Star, Black Milk, Black Moon, Booda, Brother Ali, C.L. Smooth, Cormega, Diction One, D.I.T.C., Elzhi, Eminem, Fat Joe, Gang Starr, The Globetroddas, Greydon Square, Group Home, Immortal Technique, Jedi Mind Tricks, Juggaknots, K-Rino, The Large Professor, Lord Finesse, Macklemore, Masta Ace, MF Doom, Miilkbone, Nas, Necro, The Notorious B.I.G., Nujabes, People Under The Stairs, Pete Rock, Raekwon, Rama, The Roots, Sharpshooters, Sound Providers.

Some of my favorites. I kinda like the fact that the underground is where it is, if it was mainstream it would be overlooked by all of the ignorant kids that only listen to music that "sounds cool." Most people don't even bother listening to lyrics these days it's retarded. Mainstream is just a stupid business, the underground is art.

Mainstream doesn't have shit on this.
