Rap and rock, I love listening to Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, N.W.A, Biggie Smalls, 2pac, Eazy E, Geto Boys, Nirvana, Third Eye Blind, Collective Soul, ACDC, Metallica.. Etc. I hate Lil Wayne, he is such a poser. His music is illiterate bullshit, all he talks about is drugs and money.. Yet people still buy it? It's mostly teenagers that think they're cool because they listen to him. He cannot rap at all, and anyone who thinks he can does not know real rap and what it was meant to be. I listen to all music that is good in my opinion... whether they are new or not should make no difference. I am more into older rock though such as pink floyd, Styx, journey and such. That does not mean that I do not listen to todays music like, My chemical romance Green day HIM, kill hannah ETC.

Finally someone who respects good music. I love old school rap. I have songs from all those rapper you named. But you left out 2 of my favorites, Nate Dogg and Warren G.

My personal favorites are Mos Def and Talib Kweli. Those guys put their soul into their music. I also love biggie and tupac. The guys made real music not the bullshit thats out today.

We grew up listening to those guys and in my opinion, their our standard. Sadly though the music generation is going to have to move on and different artists are going to have to carry it on. I don't know about you guys, but I don't wanna see Snoop Dogg rapping when he's 60 and shit, come on now. Well, if it was Justin Beiber or Snoop at 60, I'd pick Snoop but other than that, nope. The positive side to this is our songs that we each consider our real music can still be played at anytime, any day over this radio garbage. Thanks to CD's, if you guys still even use those...

I ****ing love Machine Head. They are in my opinion the only honestly good Metal band out these days. Actually, that was poor wording. They are my favorite Metal band. I don't think anyone else comes close to the scale of intensity they bring with each song. Perhaps Trivium, but they're more technical than raw power like Machine Head

I love K3, its a nice belgian group of girls singing, its normally for the younger ones though but still love it
