I hate Lil Wayne, he is such a poser. His music is illiterate bullshit, all he talks about is drugs and money.. Yet people still buy it? It's mostly teenagers that think they're cool because they listen to him. He cannot rap at all, and anyone who thinks he can does not know real rap and what it was meant to be. I'm 15 and EVERYONE in ALL of my classes are like "Omg The Carter IV is so good, especially that song How To Hate blah blah blah". Yeah I mean I HATE rap/ hip-hop/ country/ pop with a passion. I mean if thats what you like its what you like but I prefer bands like The Devil Wears Prada/ The Air I Breathe/ Asking Alexandria etc. But what annoys me is when people say I need to listen to 'real' music like rap. Like no? I like what I like, you like what I like, don't try to change me.

Because AC/DC and Nirvana totally aren't mainstream or anything, right?. Although they're both some of the most merchandised bands in the world.

Here is a couple of good artists: Lowkey and Akala, they are the best rappers of this decade. They are some of the most intellectual people that are on the earth today in my opinion. Only listen to them and people like Public Enemy but I mostly listen to Alternative Rock like Linkin Park, Anarbor & Bring me the horizon.
