I personally think the drinking age in the U.S. should be lowered from 21 to 18. If a man can get married, vote for the president of his country, and join the military at 18, why can't he choose to have a drink or not? I would like to hear all of your thoughts on this :beer:

18 should be the legal age to start drinking :y: 21 is just to old to start.

maybe thats what they want, when your 15-18 thats what you want to do but maybe by the time you get to 21 they want you to think **** it im to old to even bother. i dont know its 19 here.

Even 19 sounds pretty reasonable compared to 21 though. Honestly has Canada had any problems because the drinking age is 19? NOPE. I really think the national drinking age should be 18. People get all other adult privileges at 18, but they wait 3 more years to start drinking? And the sooner you start drinking doesn't effect your brain at all, so why is it still 21?

18 would be awesome, but drinking while you not legal to drink just makes it more exciting.

That would be more reasonable than 21.18 sounds good to me!

If your in the military (17-20) I believe you can drink if you show your military id.
