Im for it as my friends mum smokes it as she has something wrong with her. (has to be in a wheel chair now) and it stops her pain. But lots of my mates smoke it and alot of their heads are ****ed up.

In my opinion im against it. Due to the fact that people will be on the street's all high and think they see a transformer or someother illusion. All im saying is that I do not think Marijuana should be legal.

I'm against is, if alot of people start getting high, then they will start to commit more crimes which may be more serious.

i say legalize it bcuz Marijuana ppl are already doing it and Marijuana makes u feel good and wierd (TWEAKIN) lol i remember when i did weed it felt like my skin was coming off me and like i was bleeding everywhere on my body

Tetrahydrocannabinol (the psychoactive chemical in Marijuana - THC) is usually non hallucinogenic. You won't see transformers, lol.



Quite the opposite actually. If you study prohibition (the time period where alcohol was illegal) you'll find that crime rates actually sky-rocketed.

Once again, quite the opposite. The fact that it's illegal adds to the temptation. In the US about 40% of citizens have tried it, whereas in Amsterdam (a city where marijuana is perfectly legal), only 23% of citizens have tried it.

It should be legal because that would stop the illegal traffic of it and the crimes due to drug dealers would reduce. I also think that it should be legal because if alcohol and cigarettes are legal (which can both kill you) then i do not see why weed shouldn't.

I'm straight edge, which is a movement where you take no drugs, no premarital sex, blah blah. I support the legalization of all drugs, not only marijuana, but all. Think about all the tax revenue you could rake in from legalization, as well as saving taxpayers millions by ending the war on drugs, which will never end. Gangs main source of revenue comes from the illegal importing of drugs, you take away that revenue, guess what? Weaker gangs.
