Some extremely basic terminology...

Theist: believes in a god(s).
Deist: believes in a god(s) that created the universe but subsequently abandoned it and/or believes that reason and observation of the natural world are sufficient to determine the existence of god(s).
Atheist: does not believe in a god(s).
Agnostic: does not claim to know if a god exists or believes that such knowledge cannot be known, depending on the definition. Typically when I personally use this label I'm referring to the former.
Gnostic: claims to know one way or the other if a god exists.

There are some more but that's the basics down. I'm an agnostic atheist. What are you and why?

I don't believe in God, Ghosts, or magical powers at ALL. I believe that the world/universe is just something that has always been there and is something the human brain just can't comprehend. I don't believe that this "God" spent 1 day on the entire universe, but spent 7 days on a little bitty tiny planet. I do believe that we are not the only ones in the entire universe. I also believe that the universe just keeps going on and on and does not have a beginning or an end.

Those are just my beliefs. I'm not going to debate my own beliefs, so this will be the only time I post on this thread, and if anyone doesn't like what I have to say, then it's just tough shit.

Science is based off of physical evidence. Religion is based off of hope and faith.

Science makes sense of most shit, sometime could be errors or "theory's" or other shit, but its still the most rational explanations, cause and effect, maybe there is some truths in religion too, but i don't forget the stuff people believed back in them days like witches n other crazy stuff, i believe religion was a way to control the people, look at our laws now pretty close to religion "Thou shalt not steal" etc, Though there is some things that i find Crazy with religion ie, Most Religions are basicly the same with some minor differences like names n stuff... but thats just what i have heard i havnt read every religion so i dont really know xD,

God was never created because He is outside of time. You should look into most religions because all of them are not the same and religion isnt used to control people because if you use your statement then the Atheists are being controlled by their religion because lets face it religion is the fact that you obey a set of rules and have your own gods but the difference between religion and Jesus is Jesus is a lifestyle not a religion. Plus if you look at Christianity it shows GOD reaching down to humanity to save them whereas the other religions are based on doing "good things" in hopes of going to the promised land.

The way I see 90% of stuff in life. If there is no pic or any proof. It never happened. No disrespect but I just don't believe in anything except myself. Most religious count on jesus or god to save you in situations, if he was real and possible had a human mind, he would. Going back way back in school, they tsught me that he healed people.

Thanks for seeking out this dead post to comment again. To say there is no pic or any proof it never happened is a misleading statement. Its like me asking how do I know you had breakfast this morning because you have no proof of telling me that you actually had breakfast. Also if I were to ask you if George Washington was real how could you prove that with out a pic? Do you see how that is misleading? There is overwhelming proof that Jesus existed in this world the problem is what you want to believe for whatever reasons you have.

Because there is evidence of that happened. My bowl of cereal, the spoon I used? Maybe george washingtons face everywhere. Whereas god and jesus. Its jusg shitty cartoons with no actual evidence. Way I see it. Peopld back in the day were so dumb to believe anything, that way this guys name jesus thinks he can conttol people. Nah. You have your beliefs and opinions but in this dsy and age in life. Unless there's physical evidence. Its never existed.

Its pretty pointless to debate with you because its useless to show you the evidence because you are already set on what you believe i.e. blasphamy to Jesus. Theres more evidence for Jesus than your bowl of cereal and spoon yet again you never proved anything with that just saying you have eaten breakfast.
