You talkin to me?
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well I consider myself decently chivalrous. I'm a kind person, I attempt to be the best I can be, I help those in need, I would never hurt a female(in self defence I would hold her down until she calms down), I'm always cautious with the words I use around others, I would never start a fight and I would never throw the first punch.

I've look at all the people I know and it feels like 1 out of 10 people I know have some sort of chivalry in them.

I know some people are going to say that nowadays women want to feel equal. I'm not saying that is wrong. For me I would treat my significant other equal but I would still put them on a pedestal.

Basically I'm asking you guys to look at yourself and ask yourself Do you have any amount of chivalry in you?

EDIT:
Dammit I forgot to add the poll.

Ignoring something you dont understand is the same as admitting your wrong. :ca:

We should treat everyone equally, regardless of gender, race, or beliefs. That's just the way it should be and as time progresses, that's the way it will be. I treat everyone the way I would want to be treated, I follow the Golden Rule, as should everyone else. And you get the feeling the Clutch doesn't like girls? I mean come on, just because he wants to treat everyone EQUALLY and you want to put the opposite sex on a pedestal, doesn't mean he doesn't like girls. He wants equality, which is what many feminists want (although to be honest, I'm not a fan of feminists in the first world, but that's another story.) Everyone should be treated equally, it shouldn't matter, but by treating the opposite sex differently you are in fact being kind of a sexist. So all in all, treat others the way you want to be treated and don't treat other people differently.

Very well said sir, you saved me a load of typing. Might I add that feminists usually succeed in putting themselves in positions higher than men simply due to being feminist? It's like playing the race card every time you get pulled over/arrested/questioned.

Yeah, I've had very poor experiences with feminists now that I've been in college (the bright side is they are very good in the sack.) I'm all for equality, but the way many feminists in America go about it is very wrong and they come off very misandrist. However I'm all for feminists in developing nations and many Islamic nations. Although to be honest if you really want equality like many feminists want, they should instead be humanists, but I guess it doesn't have that same ring to it.

So you can preach about how women are not being treated equally, yet you are fearful of feminists? Every side needs people like that to represent the demands on that side. Its illogical not to expect that kind of behavior being unearthed when someone is being oppressed for long enough. Sure they may appear to have a generally (Or actually in some cases a very STRONG dislike of men to the point of oppression) bad outlook on men, but they have good intentions and do what they believe is required to obtain equality. Everyone goes about this differently, its funny how you are trying to tie this in with chivalry, since most feminists i have come across do not accept it, or rather claim that they "Do not need my kindness". My response is usually uncaring, since i don't really care one way or the other, it wouldn't offend me or make me spark an argument, because i really do not care, that's just how i am.

There's also the whole women's sports thing not being taken seriously, and a bunch of other stuff, i don't really crack jokes on women, because where i'm from they are just as strong as the men if not stronger... so.... uh.. yeah.

Wow you just never read my posts do you, maybe Clutch was right. I don't fear any feminists, where exactly did I say that? I said I don't like the feminists I've been seeing in college, I've had bad experiences because they've come of very misandrist. In case you don't know what that means it basically means the hating of men where as misogyny means the hating of women, which feminists love to throw around to any man without proper recourse. These "radical" feminists are the ones who go on saying how, "Man is a failed women," and so on and so forth, spouting anti-man propaganda. This is the opposite of equality, they just want the opposite position they are in now where women are the "dominant" sex (and I realize you'll use that statement against me by saying, "Ah hah! There is a dominant sex." So I'll just say dominant in the context that feminists say.) Like I said I'm for equality and first world feminism doesn't meet that, so I'm a supporter of humanism. That all being said, it is very clear you don't take the proper time to read my statements and again, you are a very good example of a Fox News broadcaster.

You came across as having a fear of these types of feminists, which is the feeling i got from your post, and i still get it even now to be honest. I'm not going to use that statement against you, but what do you think they mean when they say the word "dominance"? Humanism is almost impossible to represent, there are so many anti-human things we have in this world its so much easier to make money off of someone else's misery then it is to make money off of their fortune or prosperity.

These things are challenging to say the least, and i dont even watch the news since all of it is bs anyway.. but you see, women are being slandered everyday by the media, from the way the dress, to the songs that are being published/ gandered as popular, every single thing that women deal with have presented problems with how a woman has to carry herself in society.

Ones that change their personality to be accepted, or become "More feminine" so many problems here, you couldnt possibly fathom, i dont know why your scared of a woman who might be a little too for her side and agaisnt yours lol. I believe all women have a right to form constructive criticism against the men who constantly belittle and oppress them. Lol, anti-man propaganda, but men do the same, so it is justified.

It is not that it is dead as so much as it is not being taught by parents as each generation picks what is important from the previous generation ideals. Unfortunately, it is on a decline but each of us can enforce it when we see an opp. and show the young what how necessary politeness is.

I would say no, its not dead. Just certain males decide to continue with chivalry while douchebags are well... douchebags. Ive been with my girlfriend for over a year. I hold the door for just about everything, i never hit her(unless were playing around then she gets hurt, then i feel bad), im always kind and courteous.

But aside from that you need to be kind to everyone, show respect for others and yourself.
