Apple has more apps. Android has more games + most apps & games are free.
S3 is faster and has bigger screen than iPhone5 + S3 is cheaper than iPhone5.
I'd go for S3.

I like iPhone 5 better because i've had more time to play around with the iPhone 5 and its fun

It's all about personal preferences.
Personally, I'd go for the GS3. My friend recently got the 4s and people were like, "Meh, the 5 is out." Apple are money hungry. They want more and more. The Samsung Galaxy S3 has proven to be the better out of the two, but it's all about what design etc.. You much prefer.
At-least, Number 1. The Samsung GS3 isn't as expensive. 2. It won't go out of fashion as Samsung Don't release a new one every year and 3. People still love and think the S2 is the best, so the S3 is god-like to them. :p
Personally, I'd go for a white GS2. But out of the two, if I had the money, defiantly the Samsung GS3.

Lol this might not help you decide But.... My ada,sister older bro, and cousin all got the S3
and my dadhad iphone but he loves the s3, he says it is easy to use there is no complexity in the device
