I would say S3 if you like widgets and customizable screens. I currently have an iphone but i dont like how locked down it it compared to android.

It depends. Do you prefer customizing or simplicity? If your someone who wants to make their phone look creative and cool, the galaxy s3 is more suitable for you. If you prefer simplicity and basic, go with iphone. Apple is "overrated" in a certain way. If you want to get an iphone because its from "apple" and its "amazing" then you are headed in the wrong direction. Android's are just as good phone.

I've had all apple products but I would get the Galaxy S3 because eveeeryone has the iphone and you can customize more with the s3 which i like

I've had every iPhone since Apple released them and I absolutely love it. You can't go wrong with getting an iPhone. I have a biased opinion, but i think the iPhone is so much better.

Get whatever you want. Don't let others tell you what to get. Many of the answers are most likely biased.

Find a friend who has the GS3 and another who has the iPhone 5. Compare the two phones and choose the phone you want based on your opinions.

Both phones are really good. Personally I like the iPhone more, because of the OS.
