That's ridiculous. I don't know why so many people are even getting the slims either. It is the Xbox 360, a little smaller (Easier to tilt and have a garbage disposal noise made destroying your disc), has a larger hard drive (Which you could by separate for not that much and then sell your smaller hard drive), and still at the price of an elite. The only thing that is nice about it supposedly is the locations of the usb's are a little more convenient and it supposedly has a faster wireless connection...
Plus when something goes wrong, and you call they give the same instructions they have been using forever... If it is something not in their system there is no one you can talk to who can go around the system to help you. It is not very enjoyable when something goes wrong and its not in the system they can't help you at all, it makes no sense... I noticed with all customer service (Microsoft, Sony, or any other outsourced CS, they love to point fingers and can't ever help with anything if not in the system :\)
I'll stick with my regular elite
