Let's remind ourselves that while the Wii may be different, that doesn't make it any worse. In fact, I can think of some pretty good reasons why the Wii could be considered better than the other consoles.
1) It's a lot cheaper.
2) It's completely backwards compatible.
3) It has games that you actually enjoy playing.
4) It's a family console.
5) The 10-year-olds playing multiplayer with you don't have microphones.
6) "Wii" is more fun to say. Try it.
7) Compatible with four different controllers.
Wii started the whole "moving controller" craze.9) They're super light, small, etc.
10) Friend Codes: No need to spend hours trying to think of a good screen name.
11) An online service that is free and isn't down for month-long-periods.
12) It's super easy to hack, enabling free games.
13) And, finally... Mario :fyea:
Anyways, those are just some of the reasons off the top of my head. I'm sure you can do better?
And just because you disagree doesn't mean you need to spend a good 15 minutes typing up counter examples for each one. Go make useful posts elsewhere :p

Reasons why you are a fag
1.) the Wii is as powerful as a toaster.
2.) the graphics engine is as powerful as the one from the N64.
3.) it's cheaper because it sucks.
4.) not everyone likes motion control games.

Lets look at Metal Gear. I love the sereies but honestly MGS4 the all mighty HD amazing graphic one is the one I hate the most because of story and gameplay. Yet I love Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake and that games 8 bit.
If you cant look past graphics and how pretty a game looks you are better off watching movies.

1) Actually the more childish opinion would be to assume that somebody else's opinion is invalid, simply because there are more "facts" against their argument (even though the quantity of the facts is no measure over their quality, which is particularly low for the "facts" that you listed).
2) The Wii's lack of wired internet capabilities is still much more impressive than the 360's lack of wireless capabilities. Oh, and think for a little bit before you reply saying "Oh but I bought the $100 adapter for that, what now".

in my house all 3 consoles are present and honestly the xbox was the biggest mistake its garbage....
i do play the wii a good bit but the only reason i play it is to play a game with my little brother. wii sports is the only thing i play with him because he is only 9 and i'm 21 we don't have the same taste in games haha but the wii is fun but childish and way bent towards kids.
well the nicest thing about having all the consoles is my whole family can watch netflix whenever they want almost ever tv in my house has a system attached to it i have 2 ps3's and a shitbox in my room middle brother ps3 youngest brother wii netflix is the only reason my xbox gets turned on. unless i have a soda that needs held then i bring the disk tray out
