Battlefield 3: Better on PC...

Ok, now that I've got your attention... Battlefield 3 is an improvement over Battlefield 2. Battlefield 2 was undoubtedly one of the best PC games of its era. I reckon that it still might be a favorite game to many players. You could play against skilled opponents, without ever going online with the game. There were many diverse maps and intriguing mods.

Now, you're probably wondering why it isn't as good on console, as it is on PC; or even why it's not perfect. The thing is, that Battlefield 3 will only run at 30 frames per second on any console, whilst achieving 60 on the PC. This may not be that big of a deal, but it's definitely something that will set it back a little.

Personally, I will be extremely happy if it is just a little more smoother and polished than Battlefield: Bad Company 2. No game has achieved perfection, so don't let this deter you from buying it. The least you could do is try it and see if you like it. :y:

I don't know if you've seen this, but this is the PS3 gameplay. Go ahead, jizz.

Ofcourse it's not going to be as good as a gaming PC. The xbox / ps3 is nowhere near as powerful as a computer. Even then, if you have bought a PC after 2006 odds are it will have a better graphics card than the xbox. I don't know why people were expecting the FPS and graphics of this game to be the same as PC.

You'd think that at least the staff of this place would read through threads thoroughly. It's bad enough the community is horrible.

It's not our fault you havn't got a sense of humour. And I think people like you make up the minority of the community that is supposedly horrible. IMHO.

Not true, you merely have to play the newer, ultra-intense-on-graphics-cards games on lower settings. It'll still and always will be very much usable and will produce the same performance as it did when you bought it.

Basically graphics cards remain usable for about 3 or 4 years before you start to see a significant drop in performance. The only people who have any other issues are those who refuse not to be on the very best of the best, they may well have a problem Winky Winky
