@jounijkk, there was a typo on earlier CRX tune, rear toe was entered as +0.6, it should be +0.06, sorry for that, noticed just when copying that tunesheet for a base to this..
I believe you missed the point entirely as per usual. The default tuning and setup in GT is bears no resemblence to the real car default handling, that's a fact. Every car, other than very select few out of a couple of hundred, plows like a tractor out of the box both entering and exiting corners. You don't get proper lift off oversteer in any FF with the default setup...again a fact. In AC and PCars you don't need to spend hours tuning cars to handle the way they do in real life because the default setup does that for you. It's physics son, read up on it. The only way you can get GT cars to be even close to real life is to completely change the car by adding all kinds of aftermarket parts and tweaking them until the cows come home and even then it's still not even close. If you have to completely change all the car parameters to get the cars to even come within a mile of their real life counterparts, then you're not doing anything different than all the people at F.I.T.T. that you cry and moan about so often. The stock car out of the box should be a close approximation of the real car and most are miles and miles off. I've never run across a single AC or PCars player that doesn't simply rave about the stellar FF handling in those games and doesn't fall in love with FF's after hating them in GT because they are such pigs to drive. Numbers talk friend.
You said this, In AC and PCars you don't need to spend hours tuning cars to handle the way they do in real life because the default setup does that for you.
This is not true, I have AC and Pcars, in AC mods usually have some of the cars made wrong, while in Pcars, I have found the FQ400 terribly wrong long time ago, my wmd buddies tried to have it fixed and still devs didn't do a damn thing. My reading of Ridox status conversation with WMD member confirmed this. If you say FQ400 drives great in pcars, you are a lost and cant be saved. I also saw someone didn't like ridox work, his latest status asking for mclaren f1 pcars setup invites pcars player who just want to take cheap shots. what the big deal with someone doing great job fixing up cars in a game, hell I want ridox on pcars too, so I can drive correct FQ400.
I won't tell again, FF is naturally understeer. I asked ridox about scirocco that I test drive from my local dealership, and pointed me to a best motoring video of the scirocco r racing at tsukuba, guess what, the FFs in the race, Integra Type R, Scirocco R never oversteer, they are all understeer. these are racing driver and tried to win. ridox even gave my some hint on what the scirocco r driver saying, the car initially drive close to neutral on entry, but after 2nd lap, the car started to understeer more and more, and requires smoother braking and steering.
One of the link he gave me
he also showed me spoon integra type r video on youtube, a tuned ff for track racing and it understeer like crazy, causing the driver to yank handbrake on several tight turn just to get the nose pointed right. he told me the car ran very high springs with very good tires, but I still see understeer and not once the car oversteered.
how many good driver will lift in the mid corner when driving FF ? I think only stupid or less skilled driver do. Chris Harris is a joke if you want to use his driving as example, not much better than Clarkson or the rough driving The Stig, Ben Collins Stig was bad. I have seen complete lap in interior cam top gear hot lap of nissan gtr, a clutter mess lap which only showed the stig is driving like a rally car driver. Sideways on a hot lap is cool to watch but damn slow. He can't even take first turn without counter steering erratically and almost went off track, and watching the stig see sawing the steering on the 3rd turn, the last turn was hilarious, he almost spun crossing the finish, bad driver, the car only did 1:19.7. a good driver can countersteer and recover smoothly.
Yes, i noticed. I have used 0,06. I thought it must have been an error.
If You have time, there is one interesting and fast car: Ft-86 G. I just found this car and it feels potential. I'm driving it 550pp. This car needs more than good setup, I You want to go fast. I have a feeling that this car has 7.50 - 7.55 potential with RS tyres in Nurburgring 24h.

The 86 family cars are quick. Personally I think PoDi have used the 86 much in the development of the game. Some of my Fav cars to drive although my personal choice is the BRZ. I have a set up here for that car I was able to put down some surprisingly quick laps on SM tires 500pp.
This family of cars is like like a step up from Spec Miata Racing and I think Spec Miata is like Entry level for those who want to learn driving technique, then 86 family racing is the next step.
I find some cars are a bit too grippy on RS tires tho. The NSX Type R when I take a hard corner flat the huge grip has me 2 wheeling because the outside tires are gripping way too much. I usually avoid RS tires on these odd ball cars, The C7 Gran Turismo is turning out to be one of them, just crazy crazy grippy taking corners too hard has me lifting up on 2 wheels, I opted to raise power an weight to keep at 600pp but not be so easy to lift up. and its working but Im not liking the mass, I would personally not drive the car on grippier tires than Sports Soft, but Im getting something decent still out of her on RS.
I think many cars are just too much grip on RS for my style of tuning/driving, its like the mechanical grip and tire grip combined is just way too much. Ive not tried the 86 Family on RS but there is a "Racing" version that seems more suited to RS than SS tires... That I think should be looked at...
@Jounijkk, check here after 40 min you'll have some quick base tune waiting.. "I'll be back" going to shopping that car.
I think he is talking about the concept car IIRC that car has stock downforce and should be much better on RS because of it.
EDIT
Naw, no downforce stock and cant hit 550pp, but sure is well suited for 500pp SS tires, Ill let OdeFiNN Hook you up, Ill put together something for the car at 500pp SS Tires when I have some time after the C7 nd my Myth Buster Project is done.
I would be interested in PM'ing you and maybe OdeFiNN my GTI set up I plan to drop it by a certain deadline Thursday, but Id like to hear your impressions before then.

Hmm.. 8:15.708 with one spin... Maybe it goes under 8 min.. You must login or register to view this content. You must login or register to view this content. You must login or register to view this content.
Every other thing maxed, and some power limiter to stay under 550pp, you should make last few gears longer, it lacks bit on those gears..
don't touch curbs are my last words
Just tested that sinister tune, real world technic can be used, after "welcome laps" (all .54,2xx) pushed bit and got .53,7xx, there is still more spare time in that, low .53 is achievable, or under .53.
Pretty stable, better than mine, at least on Monaco.. I'll beat on Nordschleife
