Ode, thx I try. The car will go somewhere between 7.50 - 7.55, I'm absolutely sure about it. My time was 7.57 with not good setup ( rear end wasn't good, weight transfer was too heavy, etc.).

About Gti

Spot on, very spot on

Driving experience and fun factor:
After first few corners I was thinking what kind of pills have You taken. When I realised how I can control this car with throttle, everything changed. After that I could go throttle way before apex, really steer the car to the apex and to the exit point. This car is a drivers car, it needs to be driven and the car will also give a reward back to You. Fun factor is excellent. With this car You will learn lots of things about driving witch You can use in real world.

About setup. Following relationship was new for me and those new relationship gave me good lesson about tuning:
1 ) Front springs vs rear springs
2 ) Front dampers ( comp and ex ) vs rear dampers
3 ) Arb, front vs rear
4 ) Front camber vs rear camber, amount of rear camber
5 ) front toe vs front camber

Last:
For me this setup is spot on, I wouldn't change anything.

Well done.

Much Thanks, me thinks your talking about the GTI, but if not my Bad :( just based on the points sounds like my GTI MKV tune your talking about. Happy

Cheers, the car is fun and race ready, good to go many laps without scrubbing off too much speed and outlasting the competition between pit stops. The longer the race with tire wear set to real the more advantage this car will have over most everything else on the track. I will have some data one these details very soon as part of the myth busting project, just waiting on outside data collection before I give away too many details.

Awesome!

PS OdeFiNN, your predictions of what kind of times the car may be capable of at Monaco is very spot on... Things become really interesting when the car is brought online with tire wear turned on...

About lap times with Golf in Monaco

Its 1.51,x after 10 laps and I don't know Monaco well. I estimate that this car has potential to be 1,49,x - 1.50,x car.

Thats faster than I was able to run the car. Nice to see you were able to make her do some magic and cut some seriously quick laps. I felt the potential but you really brought it out. Thanks Bro

1:51 Dayum.

Golf is a high 1.50 car for me and I think it's 1.49 car for some really good driver.

There is one very fast ff car for level 450pp - 500pp, which deserves a good setup from Sinist3r or someone else in the future. It's a car I really don't like and it's a car, what is a cause I don't like online races between 450 - 500pp - Ford Focus RS. Many people are using this car.

The reason why I don't like this car: There is allways RS which win all races. That's ok, but winning by drifting every corner, it's not ok. It looks awful and it's not the fastest way in real life.

I tried to find a setup for RS a long time ago ( mistakes in arb, spring relationship, camber relationship etc ) and since that, I haven't return to this car. Maybe now it's possible for me to find a setup by using Sinist3r Golf as an example ( those relationship witch surprised me / my earlier post ). First I try to find a setup for ft-86 g and try more Sinist3rs BRZ.

If someone knows a car 450 - 500pp, what can beat RS, I would be grateful for a hint ( Dino? ). And of course the good setup would be nice for RS and RS eater.
