@ Bread Thank You for telling us Your approaching, it's good to know.

There was at least one thing what was new to me. I have usually a problem with understeer in fast corners between apex and exit point. In Your approaching You told that You add rear arb until understeer is a way, I never thought it. I'll test Your setup in Tsukuba, when I get back home.

@Jouni No problem, hope it works for you. Other things I used to do were: stiffen rear spring, put ballast to rear, lower LSD IT and maybe accel or add rear negative toe. I generally prefer ARB as the others tend to affect other parts of the corner, although LSD IT can also be another good option.

With an S13 that I had a rear wing on, Ride Height slope seemed to affect the general behaviour too (as per the menu descriptions)... but I'm still a novice with aero - makes sense that it would have the most effect in fast corners though.

Randomly - I took my miata to Tsukuba, online, V.Fast tyre wear (SS tyres) and ran the thing for 30 laps with no pit stop to see what would happen... I ended up with:

FL 2, FR 5, RL 3, RR 6.

At this point the car was getting ridiculous, but in the buildup to this the balance was OK... it tended a little more to understeer as things got worn down. Has anyone else run a mini-endurance in their machines?

@bread82, "after 14lap online at Tsukuba all real, tyre wear Very Fast it has left FL6-FR8 / RL8-RR9" - from few pages earlier Smile

I will get back in touch wth the thread content in a bit, have a few min throughout the day to pop in and LMP1 NISMO has me attention.

ERS on the LMP1 is interesting. It goes from Zero to full batt each time you hit the brakes, recharge takes VERY little time, and it dumps the battery by the top of 4th on a 1st gear corner exit. With a 5 spd gearbox the gears are looongg, and dropping to first is like standard for anything other than a sweeper.

Im near positive its Full time FWD and ZERO power goes to the rear wheels, it drives very much like a FWD car on the throttle UNDERSTEEEEEEER but feels MR on the brake pedal, she rotates much more than the usual FWD front heavy car on the brakes hard. Not as much neutral rotation as I would like, feels like the rear end anchors down unless on the brake pedal. On the brake Pedal the front turns in and the rear gets lighter and becomes more compliant. Its abnormal, feels like they went after the good stuff from FWD but got stuck with all the bad shit...

Its odd to drive because usually cars i this level are easy to rotate on throttle this car plows forward on throttle, and man do you gotta scrub speed in this bitch...

@sinister, absolute worst car / setup / track combo on final round, winner will be guy from France or Italy, promised fwd country's.
This was first time ever in GT history when I have drive one full lap with DS3 controller, giving mercy to my G27 bearings and engines.

Car & Track was expected. Honestly if it was any other car at any other track I would of been pissed. GTAcademy is the road to the GT-R LM NiSMO @ LeMans. The winner of this years GTAcademy is very likely to be driving the GT-R LM NiSMO at next years LeMans while we have 3 GTAcademy drivers who will be driving it this year. GTAcademy is a PoDi event Thanks to NiSSN/NiSMO, I only expect Nissans in GTAcademy and I wouldn't want any other car, NiSSAN deserves their spotlight and I give them respect for the Balls they have with GTAcademy on a whole. I wish something like this could of been around when I was a Tween, its a serious cash game racing and this is a venue for those with the talent but not the cash to catch a break, best thing to come out of a video game in history, nothing IMO comes close. While PoDi is awesome for GTAcademy remember GTAcademy is ONLY POSSIBLE because of Nissan. Nissan is making the FWD move at LeMans this year, PoDi is art of the Nissan Team. I wouldn't complain if I was one of the GTAcademy driver getting ready to race LeMans, FWD fuck it IDC Ill drive a car that runs on fairy dust and flowers if I can run it at LeMans.

The GT-R LM NiSMO is going to be one of those Huge hit or Huge Miss type deals all based on its performance at LeMans, looks and EVERYTHING else is secondary. EVERYBODY will be playing Monday Morning Quarterback to either praise or condemn the car after the race. HOWEVER MAN do they got BALLS to try something so off the wall. They have theory behind it, its not tossing shit at the wall, its trying something different in a racing venue with room for something different to be tried, probably the last venue on such a scale where this much crazy can be tried. As crazy as some might think it is (including me) if it wins it wont be crazy, it will be genius. Often times all that separates Crazy and Genius is winning.

I ran my first lap DS3 and I was much more content the second time I went out with her using the G27 (2nd video) its one of those cars a DS3 is weird to use. The G27 is fine, its a crazy rodeo down the straight but no biggie if you go loose on the wheel, you will certainly like the car much more on the G27,maybe try a track other than LeMans to feel out the car as LeMans straight is bumpy as shit. Silverstone GP would be my choice.

@sinister, true and true, my most concern is FFB brutality on my G27, kling Klang KLONK, realism maybe yes, but breaking players equipment - NO. Smile
After few tests with G27 I made my decision about that car, garage duster.
Nismo is the thing for GT6.

Have you ever tried one of those High Speed races OnLine at SSRX OMG thats a killer on the wheel bro, I just dont go there at all to save the wheel. Its not so bad with the LMP1 at LeMans with my G27 and wheel settings 6/8 but I dont fight it on the straight I go a bit lose on the wheel but keep her pointed straight none the less.

GTAcademy Im 62nd place regionally after literally 2 laps and thats good for 857 in the world. That's of an hour ago, it will go up, but Final Round Ill return to push it a bit more, I am not familiar with the track like I am Silverstone, I know it, but I dont know it as well as maybe I should. Also the car needs some getting used to still, so I got few weeks to improve my 3:33.XXX time.

NISSAN GT-R LM NiSMO ERS Current State

Power is pulled from the electric motors only from 112mph to about 135mph and what is not used in that period is drained from the battery seeming unused in a second or 2.

The battery fills up very very quickly and braking into any corner just bout will fully recharge the battery, because it drains when unused if your on and off the brakes or its a long sweeper you may see the battery get fully charged and a sec later receive charge again without you of using any of the charge. Your limited inn the time you have from receiving the charge to using it.

No electric power until the car exceeds 112mph, and none after 135mph

So a Minimum Speed AND Maximum Speed

There is no lap limit, you can charge nd discharge the battery as much as you like each lap, it never stops working

Power does NOT seem to go to the rear wheels AT ALL, however because the electric motors dont kick in until 112mph and cut at 135mph its very difficult to be sure, but IMO there is no point using the rear for power AT ALL IF power wont go to them until 112mph, at that speed the fronts are not having traction issues, smoke from the fronts seen in my videos is from sub 112mph speeds before the electric motors kicked in and so had nothing to do with the electric motors. Its SUB 112mph that I would want electric motors to kick in in the rear and so IMO it wouldnt make any sense for the car to power the rear wheels at all if only above 112mph and so must be full time front wheel drive all the time...

MAYBE this is PARTIALLY how its intended to be run, where when NiSMO get the car sorted and up to the full 8j, they will use 6mj or so to power the rear wheels sub 112mph exiting corners, then 2mj above 112mph powering the front. If the car hits a kink or sweeper above 112mph seems like torque is vectored with the electric motors (sent to the outside wheel) but some might be fooled into thinking that's RWD power because the Torque Vectoring can slightly reduce understeer.. In reality if it we shooting the power to the rear at that time it would be sudden oversteer not a reduction of understeer, it would go from understeering to oversteering, remember its not mid rear engine its mid front and much heavier up front.
