I'm assuming at ballast is forbidden, happy if so, but no mention about is it legal or not and is weight minimum or maximum, or mandatory as is without ballast.

Stage 1 weight, no ballast, no wing, stock LSD, three lap first runs:
1:23.0 streets, needs practice on track, too weird for me.
1:27.5 big, bit practice needed on track.

Tune needs bit tweaking. Smile

Oops yeah Stage 1 my bad and yessir no ballast allowed.

Power / weight manditory

Nice

Love the active aero on that thing. Reminds me of the Predator snarling!

Yeah it's insanity. It is only spiking during stop to 21-G but even still its an ass load of G..

There are weird spikes when driving super slow (10mph or so) spiked to 322g yeah 300+ not 3.00 but this is obviously an error I believe due to how I started the lap coasting over the line to a stop then instant pull from a dig. The car pushes to the limits of the games abilities.

There is a stark difference from it and a hacked hyper car or some F-Zero style game creation. Even if only running on experimental/theoretical tech, these are the experiments and theories of the guys who design the cars that are on the road even if these are not. They are true concept cars, the first of the next generation of digital interactive concept cars, the Haters need to get with the times...

To be honest more real cars would be cool, but the VGT IMO are better than normal cars they are the unhinged concepts we once only wished we could get a taste of beyond a picture or roller at a show.

I was reading the description on the SRT and it was talking about active camber control (cool idea)... wonder how this is implemented in terms of specDB?

Liking the choice of tracks SiNiST3R, Big Willow is certainly fast enough to show differences in aero.

Would love to see even one of the VGTs built as a real-life prototype. Guessing we'll be waiting a while for the Chapparal though! A laser that powerful is fine, but I imagine getting it and its power supply small enough to mount on a vehicle is not so simple!

There is the VW Roadster VGT, it has a full drivetrain and interior (sounds nasty) VW do make VGT crazy concepts way before the VGT program. There is the mid engine W12 GTI from a few years ago. The Roadster is a sorta Version of the Vision GTI that is a running driving car and the Super Sport is just a Race version of the Vision GTI.

Many have mock gliders like the 2X Chap its tech the most experimental as battery tech is not there yet and the laser propulsion is a very theoretical tech however theoretically possible & take into consideration how far we have come in the last 20 years with batteries, a 2035 concept is using predicted batteries with 20years more development than current day tech. They actually have a method to their madness using numbers that work with predictions... It's not like the Nike car powered by the driver lol.

High boost Twin Turbo V8's can make over 2000hp with no ERS or electric motors. A 2k HP Quad Turbo V10 is certainly realistic even if extreme, this is a concept intentionally pushing to the utmost extreme level

Mid engine W12!!! Will have to read up on that, sounds like the engine from the Nardo (or was that W16?).

Could you clear some PM space please? I have a real life technical query I'd like your advice on.

Cheers,

Bread

VW Mid-Engine GTI 650HP Twin-Turbo W12 yessir I believe it's from the Nardo or used on the Nardo based on the engine in the Bentley I think.

Here is them Driving the VW Vision GTI Concept (Base Concept Car for the VW Super Sport VGT)

VW Roadster GTI VGT

This clip has the sound

VW have nuff love for the GTI and its heritage. They celebrate the history of the car with all the GTI lovers each year. It's one of my favorite cars of all time, my taste is MK2 GTI VR6, as I've had before and most likely will have again. Just something about the car that bites you for life, the MK2 Style is timeless and IMO simply cool.

Now adjusting with aero.
Some lapping with aero:

Car feels good, maybe I need some comparison point for lap time, no clue is that 1:20.202 fast or slow :/

Big Willow practising, far away from good driving lines, but practising more Smile
