(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok so I had this old phat ps3 for a while turned it on everything worked great. except the bluray drive. but anyways I went and got it downgraded and jailbroken and cfw installed with online psn access. now I noticed I can install any pkg. in fact the dude installed a fan mod app on the ps3 and got it to work, anyways I get home I try to onstall enstones console manager pkg on the ps3 and it stays black. I have to power down the ps3 cause it freezes. now this maybe cause I took the ps3 apart how im supposed to and tried to see if there was a disc on the blu ray drive since it was indicating there was a disc but it wasn't ejecting. no disc so I pit everythkng back how it was. what can this be? I want to be able to download games on the ps3 and apps, but like I said I tried multimn and the consoe manager and it went black. any help would be appreciated.


I can install the apps but when I click on them screen goes black, im on the latest habib.

Ok so I got to install rebug 4.46 the one you gave me. now as m following instructions to convert to dex I put on my usb the dex 3.55 downgrader, and as it installs it stops at 50% and it fails. now im on an update loop again again. you think if I put the rebug 4.46 again on the usb and install by recovery would it go away or I have to format the drive again? dam this sucks. why tell me I can convert to dex if this was gonna happen when I used the 3.55 dex downgrader?

You obviously didn't follow the correct instructions that i told you. & i'm presuming you read or took someone else guide/instructions & mixed up.. Because once again, i have NEVER ever before mentioned anything about a DEX downgrader to you.

Also but you know what i'm done trying to help you. As it seems you still cant seem to understand that normal CFWs whether CEX or DEX WON'T fully install if the Bluray drive is NOT attached or working. UNLESS the .PUP CFW using has the "no BD" patch in it.

I never said you told me to put dex downgrader. But I asked if I can convert to dex so after I was on 4.46 the only easy tutorial to convert to dex was the ps3ita dex 4.50. I didn't find any another dex CFW that's compatible with no BD. But thanks for all your help. I guess I'll just leave the ps3 as it is

*sigh* don't know why i'm still bothering.. While you were on the Rebug rex no-BD 4.46 firmware, did you rewrite the target ID? Yes or no?

You should have asked me if you found derek's tutorial difficult. I would've step-by-step helped you.

BTW converting to DEX on that Rebug 4.46 Rex, was possible. As Rebug REX CFWs have DEX modes in em to convert back & forth from CEX quite easily.
I & KAOSxGaming both told you that you can convert system to DEX while on the No-BD patched Rebug REX 4.46.
It's not my fault you didn't listen or trust/believe us.

Yes I rewrite the target ID and switched the lever kernel to dex. I was already on dex kernels all I needed to do was to put a dex CFW which I tried with ps3ita 4.50. You guys have helped a lot and couldn't get my ps3 runnin without you. Just made a mistake with the ita thinking I could use that. I don't know of any other dex CFW I can use to RTM that's compatible with no bd
