I flashed an Atmel USBKEY and it works.
However I don't have Modern Warfare installed and now it asks to update the game (which ofcourse I don't have) so it gives and error.
Backupmanager seems to work though.. Right now i am testing it with backing up Devil May Cry 4.
So my question to the experts
Do I need to use an ID of a game I have installed?
Edit: In case people wonder, the EU version of Devil May Cry 4 is BLES00186 according to the backup manager.
However I don't have Modern Warfare installed and now it asks to update the game (which ofcourse I don't have) so it gives and error.

Hm no sorry. I got the one from PS3HAX. I google'd some more and bumped onto your site. I assume you use the same basics?
Right now at 11% of backup up Devil May Cry again I got prompted the message "The latest update data for this software has been found. To sign in and use this software, you must update the software to the latest version. The system will quit the software and start installing. Version 1.11"
When i cancel it the backup manager doesn't quit though. The backup keeps working in the background.
I am pretty sure this is just the fooled PS3 wanting to help me patch the actual game.
I can cancel the update but I rather don't want to pop it up every now and then playing games

when i install your pkg my backupmanager gets removed from the menu.
To re-install i need to delete a save game of MW2 in 'Game Data Utility'

you have a solid link to a working pkg manager from your hand? the only pkg manager i can install succesfully is the one from PS3HAX so far.
I dont have the game though.
