so when this new firmware comes out the 3.60 am i going to be screwed... im running 3.55 and dont really want my system to become worthless..:confused:

No good sir..... Your system will not become worthless. Sony cannot simply brick your ps3 for that is very much illegal. They may require that you rid your ps3 of the jailbroken firmware before updating but that is about the extent of it. I suggest not updating tho. Ide stay on 3.55 for it has the most potential at the moment. In my opinion it has surpassed 3.41 firmware 10x. All we need now is a working backup manager for GeoHot firmware and we would be set. Soon enough. I hope.

um... even if sony releases a new firmware update, all they can really do is change the firmware number. we have the tools to turn any oficial firmware into a custom firmware. we have the keys. we have everything.

It does not. I believe we are waiting for tools in order to edit/revise a backup manager to play on this firmware. Untill then it is worthless.

And the fun part is they cannot change the keys. It will remain till the PS4 comes out. For if they changed them games would stop working which would not go down well.

I think im going to go insane if i try to play a legit game of S& to drop some kids QS and some kid is like this is a Challenge Lobby GOML im Deranking Everyone!!!

Sad you cant even get into a legit game anymore, pretty much demolished MW2. Soon people will be paying you to Host Regular Lobbies instead of vice versa. Sad its got to this point. :FU:

I'de say its pretty much safe to update. I did and it worked fine... But why would you want to... It has less features then GeoHots and alot less potential. But thats your decision not mine. I'de say the few reported bricks were done by peoples own errors not the mistakes of the creator. If i had to pinpoint a cause it would probably be people patching the update wrong. But now that they are patched for you then ide say its safe to update. But Hey thats just me. :pedo: Well I know one thing. PedoBear doesnt approve!
