(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); this happened when it started to install yes i was on cfw but i know that wasnt the problem because i have many friends on cfw that this didn't happen to.

is there a fix for this?

a serious error has occured please contact tech support for assistance

im gona call sony tomorow but i wanted some input on this from the community first.

hmm doesnt seem to be working because i think my ps3 iskinda between firmwares it because its trying to install the new one and i heard recovery mode was disabled in 3.56


hmm weird i guess your only choice is to call SONY and tell them the problem.

yea its so wierd cause ive never seen this before i dont think ive even ever seen a thread on here about a red screen Not Happy or Sad

i just woundering if this has happend to any one eles and if so how did they fix it cause i really dont want to call sony :P but looks like igot no choice now

As someone (probably op) said earlier in the thread this is infact not a CFW issue this is a hardware/software issue it basically means something messed up royally inside that the software update cant fix example: nand or something similar

Ive seen people talking about this in the past its known as the Red Screen of Death (RSOD)

This is the oldest topic ive found referring to the screen (You must login or register to view this content.)

It might be fixable yourself if you know what your doing with the insides of the ps3 like flashing the nand, if not then your kinda SOL

Sorry for the bad news but maybe you can look into it more than I did, just google 'ps3 red screen of death' you should be able to sift through and maybe find something.
