hold on make files for you guys and do you have a usb ps3break or any thing to jailbreak if not you can try this too it worked for me and i think the 2d time i tried to do something else that i did last time again and did the same way ...... and this meg up will be remove after i post the files ..... hold plz

I got this on a brand new 80GB back in 2009, it was less than a week old.

It happens when the update doesn't install correctly, and seeing as this happened to me way back in 09, I doubt it's anything to do with CFW.

I took mine back to the store and got a full refund and purchased a Slim a week later.

I'd ring Sony and ask for a refurbished PS3, they won't know if you used CFW or not, and if they do you can plead total ignorance and say you recently purchased it from a friend.

Anyway, I hope you get a fix, but ring Sony as a last resort. =D

You have obviously done something wrong. It's illegal for Sony to brick your PS3 so it was not them.

IF YOU HAVE MORE THEN ALL THE WAY TO THE LAST ONE ON THE RIGHT. THEN TURN ON PS3 AND IT SHOULD GO GREEN THEN TURN OFF . REMOVE THE DOWNGRADE USB AND PUT THESE FILE ON A USB FAT,OR FLASH DRIVE ..AND FOR THE PEOPLE THAT DONT HAVE A USB PS3BREAK THEN DOWNLOAD THIS FILE SAME AND IT MIGHT WORK FOR YOU BUT WITH USB BREAK 100% YES ..IT DID FOR ME THREE TIMES..OS THE FILES I'M GIVING YOU ARE... 1-3 FILES
