Ok I have a few questions. My 40GB PS3 got YLOD 3 days ago. I saw this tutorial on here before so when it happened I wasn't to concerned because I thought I could fix it. But the problem is I get to the step where you remove the fan assembly, to expose the cpu and gpu, but it is com[letly different on my 40GB PS3 then the tuts. So has anyone fixed a 40GB PS3 that had YLOD? Not only was the fan assembly part different basically everything was but I managed to make it work. So if anyone can help me with my 40GB it will be much appreciated.
