I would rather have all my gamesaves and my normal ps3 than have to start all over again.

hmm dont u have to remove the hdd when taking the ps3 apart to fix the YLOD so wouldnt it get formatted anyway.

when it says void waranty does that me u just lose ur waranty or does it also me u cant resell it to a store because when a new system comes out in a couple years i wanna sell my ps3 to gamestop
