Well , dude be careful . Get a heat gun which has a heat controller. Mine didn't and one of the chips wasn't heated fully so i need to do it again.

I followed this tutorial and my PS3 started working ö.... for about 5minutes lol xD, going to open it up again tomorrow & apply more heat.

Wow im dumb...I didn't plug the fan back in the first time i did it, no wonder it overheated in like 5minutes...

Its a heat compound , basically it is a thermal compound that removes the heat generated by the processes. It comes in a syringe and you lay a line out and use a credit card to smooth it over.
