(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok guys. This is kinda obvious but this JUST hit me.

If the following requirements are met:

  • The other person has a FTP server on their PS3 running.
  • The other person has port 21 on their ROUTER forwarded to their PS3.
  • You know their IP address

If they are using blackbox or multi-man, their is no password. Older versions of openftp require user "root" and password "openbox"

Just put the info in filezilla and connect.

Now that you are aware of this, nothing that happens because of this is my fault.

Be careful with what you do with it. This can help to host files easily or do illegal acts as well.

Have Fun..

try to do something delete something /facepalm

Ur dumb. You didn't even follow instructions. You not get the difference between a WAN IP and a LAN. 192.168.1.125 is only on your LAN. You wan IP is public and logged everywhere (like NGU).

Read the OP, then try it..

And YOU SERIOUSLY FAIL to read. You not know what port forwarding is? I am not caring to waste my time. If you want to see it work, you need to follow the requirements. Forward port 22 on ur router to your ps3, then run your ftp. After I can connect..

No need to act like a smart ass..

Ok? I don't care. If you fail to follow instructions, its not my fault. Come back when you decide to read, then you won't look so stupid.

I honestly don't want to? Why because I don't trust you. i am not about to port forward and give you access to MY hdd and nand. Thats risking my accounts and PSN content. If you had half a clue in netwoeking you would know it would work.

A server on your PS3. port forwarding allows it to be accessed from the web. FTP may/may not have a pass. I type your IP or web address if you have a domain associated with your IP, and your ROUTER forwards the request to your ps3.

If that didn't work, then half of the websites around the world would not be accessible..
