(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok guys. This is kinda obvious but this JUST hit me.

If the following requirements are met:

  • The other person has a FTP server on their PS3 running.
  • The other person has port 21 on their ROUTER forwarded to their PS3.
  • You know their IP address

If they are using blackbox or multi-man, their is no password. Older versions of openftp require user "root" and password "openbox"

Just put the info in filezilla and connect.

Now that you are aware of this, nothing that happens because of this is my fault.

Be careful with what you do with it. This can help to host files easily or do illegal acts as well.

Have Fun..

this is useless and why would you want to try and gain access to somebody elses ps3

u need to know the main ip address of the network

94.17*.***.***

192.168.0.1 are router assigned device ip address and you cant access from the outside only a device (pc) on the same network as the ps3 can connect to it

now who would be so stupid to set there ps3 ip adress so it matches the main ip is stupid

Ok, never said it was smart. Just was opening peoples eyes to show they aren't as save on their computers and internet as they think they are. Not that many people will use this, just showing it IS possible..

Um, i don't know how you could have downloaded a blank patch.. I coded in a iwd and ported it. A friend a while back showed me a trick and it allowed the GSC's to run in a xbox patch without re-threading (takes more room).

Heres the mediafire folder as well: You must login or register to view this content.

Whenever I downloaded the patch, it was not empty however I did not find any of your coding. It was just like a normal patch. No hacks or anything. I even tried putting it on AlterIW and nothing happened for it.

its only possible if your ip address of your ps3 is the same as the main ip

cant access it otherwise

at least i dont think u can and why would u want to do this in the 1st place

and you have to forward port 21 to begin with

for normal pc to ps3 ftp u dont have to forward port 21 in firewall

on normal Pc, the ftp request is out-going, not incoming (hosting a ftp server). Common ports are not usually blocked on out-going requests with personal firewall software..

To clarify, you dont need to port forward. If your ps3 is by coincidence in a DMZ, it has no firewall thus no protection. If your router has UPnP enabled, it forwards the ports by itself. If one knows your WAN ip (not the 192.168.xxx.xxx) he can access your ps3. Then again, has your ps3 a static ip or dynamic? Then if you shutdown your modem and reboot it, you get a new WAN ip address. Then, does the router have external security?

Anyone can try my ip address, but dont complain if you get ddos'd by my router and your internet drops:

85.164.13.215:21.

ok then but im not worried anyway i have my ps3 connected to my pc with ethernet cable and uses a complete different ip address than my WAN/ROUTER ip's

so im safe anyway

ftp'ing to ps3 over wireless takes twice as long as with ethernet cable

i dont no the last time i transfered files to my ps3 over wifi

Not exsctly dude. if course your ps3 will have a different IP than your router or wan ip. Its supposed to. Think if this, each person in your family has a namd (Ip address). But outside the house you are seen as the bob family or w/e. You may be individuals internally but are seen as the same externally.

Your router (mailbox) sorts things through to where they need to go. Its not a matter of hijacking a local wifi, but accessing through the net.

Understand?
