OK copy the data to the root of a memory stick. Then go to system settings and install other os. Go up one and change the default os and then change it to other os. It will restart and load into linux and thats you.

ya thats when i got the error...

! C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp\fraz422's USB linux.rar: CRC failed in fraz422's USB linux\boot\rootfs.img. The file is corrupt

then im assuming i just extract them to my flash

Ok downloaded both,
1st File (boot,etc.)
PS3/livecd/pdaXrom-ng-ps3-20090417.zip

2nd File (random files)
PS3/bootloader/pdaXrom-ng-otheros-0.1.2-20090417.zip

now should i create a new folder and name it PS3 and move the (random files) to that and then plug it into my PS3?

i think i messed up my ps3 i got up to the part where you pick your tv thing like "live" and stuff and it froze there and i keep resetting ps3 and i cant click on live i click and ps3 freeze so i decided to just put regular ps3 os but i cant!!!

Turn it off then turn it on and hold the power button for 5 seconds.

ok, i get to the blue screen and then i go right to the usb picture, i have no idea what option to click, my tv is an hdtv. someone plzzzzz help
