Mini Tuorial:

2. Dowload the OFW from here:You must login or register to view this content.

3. Open the Deltapatch.exe

A. On original file: chose the PS3UPDAT.430.001
B. On xDelta patch: dex430cfw.xdelta
C. Check on both option: Keep original and checksum

4. Now press apply patch and now el new CFW will be create with not brick

Whens rebug dex cfw meant to be released then?

After the recent release of DynarecPS3, Deank the developer decided to implement this feature in Multiman and at the same time the focus on Custom Firmware 4.30. He took the opportunity at the same time to add some optimizations to the manager backups to version 4.20.04.

We denote as other major additions, a new icon in the XMB to launch backups and a new step forward for users without Blu-ray, with improved launch backups of games without discs.

List of changes and improvements:

• Compatibility with Custom Firmware 4.30 DEX;
  
• Compatibility with PlayStation 1 backups format BIN + CUE using ps1_netemu for Custom Firmware DEX;
  
• Added option for Custom Firmware Dynarec s 3.55/4.21/4.30/4.31 CEX / DEX via "Enable Dynarec";
  
• Corrected the display mode 4x2 and 8x4;
  
• Fixed a bug in MMOs with the display of file names;
  
• Launch backups without disk (or without Blu-ray) improved;
  
• Icon Blu-ray PlayStation 3 will appear in the XMB instead of the usual / app_home / le_jeu_lancé;
  
• At launch, Multiman try to reset the memory LV2 to avoid incompatibility problems.

can i install it on a 4.21 cex anyone?

Deltapatch.exe launch:

1 => in "original file" browse to your firmware 4.30 official DEX (PS3UPDAT.DEX430.001.PUP)

2 => in "xdelta patch" browse "dex430cfw.xdelta"

[ATTACH=CONFIG]22682[/ATTACH]

3 => in option, check both boxes.

4 => click "apply patch" to create the cfw.

(Remember, this CFW for the ps3 converted into DEX!)

Hey i'm a newbie when it comes to DEX, I've got a couple questions, Can you still go online, is any sort of FTP available and can this be installed over a 4.30 OFW? Thanks in advance!

yes if the dex is on cfw,yes,no u can install it over ofw 4.30 maybe if you on ofw 4.30 dex but not cex,plus you need to convert from cex retail to dex debug to use this cfw
