Following up on his recent work, today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer MiralaTijera has released PS3 CFW 4.30 DEX for both PS3 Debug OFW and CEX2DEX converted consoles.

Mini Tuorial:

1. Download the DeltaPatcher from here: You must login or register to view this content.

2. Dowload the OFW from here:You must login or register to view this content.

3. Open the Deltapatch.exe

A. On original file: chose the PS3UPDAT.430.001
B. On xDelta patch: dex430cfw.xdelta
C. Check on both option: Keep original and checksum

4. Now press apply patch and now el new CFW will be create with not brick

are you sure rebug is making a nomal dex cfw cause i was looking and they said there making a 4.30 rex like the 4.21 that dual boot cex and dex i think thats what there doing i hope not but i think everyone might give there hope up for nothing cause it going to be like the 4.21 rex lol

Second, It is true 4.30 REX has been ready for a few weeks now and it does use a patched 430 lv1ldr instead of the 421 lv1ldr that does not have the check. I read a single sentence on ps3 dev wiki that stated there was a check in lv1ldr with no other details about it.. so i had a look.. found it.. patched it.. Job done. So guess i would have to give credit to the person that shared that snippet of info to work from.. Thanks

this is a quote form one of rebugs dev's so if you ask me with him mentioning 4.30 REX instead of just saying 4.30 dex itd lead me to think that it will indeed be a rex fw but hey why not rex best of both worlds right>? and as far as overheating goes with the rebug dex mode well my ps3 runs sweet every time i rte no high temps nothing so i see no disadvantages as to using rex instead of dex...

true but with him say rex it sound fishy lol i really hope it a normal rebug dex cfw not no dual boot shit lol
