Following up on his recent work, today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer MiralaTijera has released PS3 CFW 4.30 DEX for both PS3 Debug OFW and CEX2DEX converted consoles.

Mini Tuorial:

1. Download the DeltaPatcher from here: You must login or register to view this content.

2. Dowload the OFW from here:You must login or register to view this content.

3. Open the Deltapatch.exe

A. On original file: chose the PS3UPDAT.430.001
B. On xDelta patch: dex430cfw.xdelta
C. Check on both option: Keep original and checksum

4. Now press apply patch and now el new CFW will be create with not brick

Ok thanks, I wish I wouldn't have updated when I first bought it because unfortunately its a 3K model, so no downgrade for me! Just waiting until I can get my hands on a 3.55 off ebay or something to data transfer or just mod on that. Thanks!

I see no point as PS3ita 4.21 allows games up to 4.31 to run on it and it is perfect in almost every way, I'll wait and see if PS3ita creates a 4.30 version but for now I'm happy.
P.S.- I wouldn't install this until they add more features to it or a better version comes out! Still nice to see progress! Will add any future releases that are worth it to my firmware thread!

4.30 dex fw has more/new stuff in the debug setting on it then 4.21 has,other then that there really nothing new besides it more update on the way it made

I may not be a noob like you to this stuff, BUT COME ON!!!!! This is one of the most idiotic questions I've ever seen. Before you start getting mad at me, I understand that you have a lack of knowledge in PS3 modding and I'm not making fun of you. I'm making fun of the question! This is for DEX consoles along with CEX2DEX consoles that require CFW to get to in the first place which requires a 3.55 PS3. There are 4.30 CEX CFWs available but you need to be on 3.55 to get to them as well.

No! You need to convert your CEX console to DEX which REQUIRES 3.55.
