Im going to try that after I try this one way. Im going to consume to get some devastators saved up then jump in the water and go under a platform and wait till his health gets low enough for the timer then come out and let the devatators rip. This way after I do all 3 theres still a lot of stuff to throw and I'll be in great health.
I still don't see how he hit me with that tentacal one cause it went through the floors unlike the first time I tried to beat him they didn't.

the best way to beat the last boss is to use the critical pain devistator, consume military troops to recharge it, Keep the sword and shield out at all times, Climb up top of the control room or whatever thats wear u should use your devistators. He can't get up there he just jumps & throws projectiles. If your using your devistator u will take 0 damage while getting hit AND You can hit him while standing against the railing even though it looks likes you shooting at the ground ge still gets hit. Keep doing this until theres 3 minutes left(MAKE SURE YOUR DEVISTATOR IS FULLY CHARGED) Keep blasting him from up top. You Have To be quick at consuming military troops. You Should only need to go down to consume 3 or so times after the countdown begins. I Beat him in about 2-3 attempts using this method

I found the best and fastest way to beat him is fill up your mass all the way. Jump in the water and just jump around the boat until the timer starts. Hit him with the devistators (I used the circle and square). Hit him with all 3, then switch to muscle mass and use the bombs on him, to do more damage use any downed planes that may be on deck. I had 1:08 left on the clock when I beat him.
If anyone uses the hard save file the guy for the hope trophy is in Little Italy. Go to where it says Little Italy on the map and go for the large square south of the writting on the map. It took me about 2 hours to find him running down nearly every street.

another good way to wait for the timer is to wait on the top floor of the control tower. the boss will just jump and throw object at you but they can easily be avoided by hiding. When hiding, try to transform into military, so that you don't get hit by helicopters.

snuff_zero theres a save with it somewhere. I forget which one I think you have to play the story a bit for it.
I died a few times doing that as the devastator can still reach you through the floors.
