I'm an ungrateful piece of shit for using my service to have had my credit card stolen? Your statement is completely FULL of complete idiocy and ignorance? I buy games used, want to know why? Because I can't afford to pay for the full ****ing $60 game, and times are tough right now. It's more ironic that your acting like you know everything and having a linear vision.
Why do you think piracy is so damn rampant? Game Developers make more money in a single game for $20 than someone in the lower class will in their entire life, and some people have the only opportunity to buy a game used on certain times if they're lucky. I'm one of them, and I take exception and offense. With Xbox Live, you pay or your money's worth, you get more things on the market, a better GUI, earlier DLC, and a damn good online. PSN only has a decent online and a decent market. Playstation Home is alright, but as I said, you get your money's worth. PSN is free, so you'll get worse. And why did XBL give Gold to existing members? Because people had to pay for Gold, that would violating some law for not compensating something paid for.
And quite frankly, you don't know the scares of identity theft clearly if your going to say someone had your credit card. I don't care if there's a one in a million chance my card will be used, I'm going to be worried there's a chance in the first place. Sony giving us free games is something that should have been done for putting millions of people's financial security at risk. The PSN plus is absolutely ridiculous, it's bad enough they can barely keep their own servers functioning properly, and now after all of this, people are going to be charged online?
The moral if this story is that you need to think before you think of crap, and start looking at other perspectives.
You show me where it says that Credit Card Info was taken. Sony said it themselves that Credit Card info was not taken and only the useless stuff. If you can show me that I'll take it all back. PSN is a lot more stable than XBL, I have both, I play both the same amount, I like my PS3 more, and I'd sell my Xbox if it wasn't for the fact that all my friends are on Xbox.
I am looking at it from other perspectives, I'm one of the few who realise that shit happens, its not Sony's fault they were hacked, anyone and anything can be hacked. Something is hacked everyday, and people's credit card info IS actually stolen in them cases.
Also, with the PSN outage Sony did not have to offer anyone anything, nor did Microsoft when they had their outage. But Sony did anyway.
Also an outage during Christmas is WAY worse than an outage during EXAM TIMES, I had exams for the whole month that PSN was down, so did a couple of other MILLION people so the outage was actually a positive for me as it meant I could focus on exams.
Nothing else to say on the matter, shit happens, and it happened big time to Sony but its not their fault. It could easily happen to MS too.
