(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Something I have been questioning since the Sony Event is will PSN start costing money on the PS4? Sony and the PS3 have built a very good customer relationship due to PSN being accessible for free for all users and this is a feature that has set theirselves apart from Microsoft and its Xbox. However, with Sony buying Gaikai for $380 million and giving users a world record cloud based gaming service do you think PSN will cost this time around? Would you still buy the PS4 if PSN started costing money or would you feel like Sony has turned its loyalty on users for extra money?

I'm sure they will keep it free but limit the features and encourage users to use a service like ps+. might not be called the same thing but will run the same way

Not gonna happen. Sony have PS+ which a lot of their users pay for (including me). Party Chat should definitely be coming though saying as Sony promised it after Geohot hacked PlayStation but then later found out it was impossible on the RAM that the PS3 was using.

The RAM on the PS4 is massive compared to the PS3, So we should all be expecting Party Chat.

If they start asking for money for playing online, PS4 will be a no-go for me... but that's highly unlikely to happen...

I have a feeling it will be free to a point but you will have different subscriptions depending what your needs are.

I think it will be free like psn but there will be different subscriptions eg silver gold like xbox, and all of the new stuff like cloud and party chat will come with gold

I think you will have to pay but they will make the PS+ more featured.
