In my opinion, Black Ops 2 is one of the worst CODs out there. I got this game on the 23rd of December, so maybe I haven't played the game enough, but I absolutely hate it.

Reason 1:

The spawns. In all the gamemodes I've played, the spawns have been terrible. Enemies always seem to spawn right behind me. Happens in domination, Team Deathmatch, any multi-team gamemode, free for all(spawn trapping in free for all, really?!), pretty much any gamemode. Maybe it's because I haven't learned the spawns yet, but I still think they need improving.

Reason 2:

Now this one isn't Treyarchs fault, but I can't seem to find a gun I enjoy using, and do good consistently with. I've tried all the SMG'S, and almost all the Assault Rifles, and none of them are right for me. Some games I do amazing with the Vector, and some games it's the worst gun. I just can't find a gun that I like. Maybe I should try some of the LMG's. Wonder how that'll be..

Reason 3:

The maps.. Ever since they started designing maps to eliminate campers, they have been absolutely terrible. Black Ops 2 maps have to be the worst maps I have ever seen in any Call of Duty. Even MW3 maps weren't as bad as this. It is truly ridiculous. The only map I enjoy playing, Nuketown 2025 (go-figure). Hopefully the DLC brings us good maps, because I can't stand them.

There are many more reasons, but I'm not the best at writing stuff out and explaining it (as you can probably tell in this post), but I'm wondering what do you guys hate the most about Black Cocks 2?

EDIT: FORGOT TO ADD LAG. I CAN WRITE A 3 PART NOVEL ABOUT HOW BAD THE LAG IS. THAT SHOULD EXPLAIN HOW BAD THE LAG IS.

The lag is driving me nuts..

For the lag most of it you can get rid of by downloading the texture (helped me out a fair bit).Tbh i usually hate treyach but i am actually really enjoying BO2.Also why are people here are complaining about bouncing betties ,you can easily get rid of them using engineer +hacker.Most of the maps are bad except hijacked /raid /Nuke town (which is pretty fun).I find the score streak to be fairly balanced (you don't see that many loadstar around except probably in domination).Hm... guns i would say are fairly balanced in my opinion.Like if you expect to kill people half way across the map with a scorpion then you are dreaming, you just need to know what gun is good for what style.

The 1 thing i found with BO2 was that it takes time to get used to.I always had negative KD until about lvl 50 then started to get the hang of it and now i play fairly good.

I fell that Treyarchs could not make a good cod game of there life depended on it . but the do make the best zombie game type ever IMO .

There are definitely some laggy games but some of you probably just have bad internet. Also there is a lot of exaggeration in this thread imo. Lag is essentially something people are using as a crutch like camping. There are plenty of people rushing around and having virtually lagless games owning campers and everyone else. BO2 is a harder COD especially if you were one of those Support users in MW3 accustomed to just using the free streaks in that game.

Not saying lag or camping doesn't exist but it's not nearly as bad as people here pretend. Hunter Killers, Random grenades and obviously Target Finders are what I'd say I hated but there is nothing in this game I hate as much as I hated Support in MW3...



I think this is just one of these "I hate the game, who else wants to rant with me" threads.

Couldn't you say the same about every other thread on this forum?

Lag. camper's. guns are crap. bring black ops 1 guns heck even mw3 guns anyfink is better then this. also it don't bother me with the prestige glitchers as its only a emblem dont make them play any better, my opinion to stop campers is to put a count down timer in a area's for 20sec other wise booted of the game that would sort it out

Since majority of people are complaining, myself included, about lag comp/hit detection, is this really all related to netcode? Or possibly a combination of things? I feel as though Treyarch added so much stuff in this game on an old but modded engine, they are pushing a watermelon out of a lemon, no pun intended...

What about the sound levels? Isn't that just bullshit...

Omg i cnt believe people are referring back to blops 1 as a good game lol, i remember wen it was "hip" everyone hated it.....No one makes any sense, the next cod will come out and blops 2 will all of a sudden be a crowd favorite, as everyone is crying about the new cod they threatened not to buy .....This forum is on repeat with call of duty
