Joined the forum to get help on Jailbreaking my PS3 and hacking MW2 to get glitches and prestige etc.

I know the basics of Jailbreaking a PS3 as I have a guide and the files needed. Im going to try the Jailbreak tonight or tomorrow on an older PS3 that I have on 3.55. When I Jailbreak the PS3 where do I get the modded patches for MW2 and how do I go about setting them up on my PS3.

I am totally clueless on how to go about this. Is there any links people can give me or any guide somebody can post to give me simple step by step instructions on how to do this.

Also when I install the game patches will I be asked to upgrade to 3.56 to play online and will this effect the patches or my PS3 in anyway or is there a way to bypass this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because im totally new to this and really need all the help I can get

Try it through the XMB and let me know from there man.

I tried it through the main screen and I still get no applicable media. I think the download from the mirror site might be corrupt. Dont suppose you have a link to a download that is working

Right click the blue link in the middle of the page that says "download file now" and click save as. save to wherever you want. Open the folder. put the UPDAT.PUP on your usb stick. Try updating again through the XMB

Nice one. Looks like its jailbroken now. So whats the next step for getting games like call of duty etc

Ok Im sorry for the wait. Im getting alot of server errors from the NGU site so im having trouble loading any pages.

Downloaded the file and extracted the 2 files inside

Ok take the EP0001-BLES(more random numbers).pkg file and put it onto your usb memory stick. Put that into your ps3 and click Install packages on the game tab in the XMB. The file should be shown in there. Click to install it.
