Joined the forum to get help on Jailbreaking my PS3 and hacking MW2 to get glitches and prestige etc.

I know the basics of Jailbreaking a PS3 as I have a guide and the files needed. Im going to try the Jailbreak tonight or tomorrow on an older PS3 that I have on 3.55. When I Jailbreak the PS3 where do I get the modded patches for MW2 and how do I go about setting them up on my PS3.

I am totally clueless on how to go about this. Is there any links people can give me or any guide somebody can post to give me simple step by step instructions on how to do this.

Also when I install the game patches will I be asked to upgrade to 3.56 to play online and will this effect the patches or my PS3 in anyway or is there a way to bypass this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because im totally new to this and really need all the help I can get

Just a quick question. Is there any way to make me the host all the time because ive been in 3 games now and cant use the hacks

Yes use Force Host. To do this enter a private match, enter the mod menu, go to host, click on Force Host (TheUnknowns) exit the menu, and quit the private game. Enter a public lobby and it will try to force you into being host.

Force host is best used if your NAT is OPEN and not MODERATE.

Force Host will stay on until you turn off your ps3 or until you go back to a private match enter your mod menu and click on the same force host button to disable it.

Now when using force host it could take a while get to be host and to get people to join the lobby so be patient.

Thanks for that. Bug you 1 last time lol. Ive seen the videos where you can get on unaccessable roofs and stuff. What hack is that. I saw jetpack but you still cant get on the roof because there is some sort of block

It's totally ok man feel free to ask about anything you need to know.

You can use super jump to get on some buildings but seeing as how there are alot of invisible walls it can be hard to get on some roofs with just that.

The best option is to go to Fun in the menu and turn on UFO. After turning it on you will seem to be stuck where you're standing, but you're not. Just point where you want to go and press L1 or L2(depending on your stick layout) to move where you're pointing slowly or R1/R2 for fast.

Once you're above where you want to be just enter the menu again and press the UFO option again to turn it off and you should drop. Be aware you may get stuck some places after exiting UFO. To get unstuck simply enter UFO mode again and fly away.

How to I change it to OPEN and get the best out of forced host

Seems I already have a Type 2 NAT which is frustrating since ive been on MW2 for 4/5 hours now and Ive only played 5 games when I force host. Really annoying

That happens man. I get the same problem. I'd say the best thing to do is to either get people together for a private match or just play normal in the public lobbies and use the menu when you happen to get host.

Yeah I suppose. Maybe it will get better when I try again in the morning and the UK is back online. Cant help that I must be trying to connect with people the other side of the world lol
