Do you think killstreaks ruin the game?

Here is why I think they should keep there killstreaks to a minimum.


Killstreaks, bring interest into the game. But the game gets interested into campers! If you play a game like "Black Ops" 90% of people on their are Campers. They depend on there killstreak, meaning they do NOT want to lose there streak. (Which means, people camp so they dont get killed.) Alot of people I know lose interest in the game, because there are more people flying around in Ac130's/Gunships, than a noobs that shoot his bullet!

This also means, false statistic.
Yours stats do not fit the co-ordination of other players, A real FPS player, uses his gun. If you see someone who has a higher KD/R than you, this is only because they constantly use there killstreaks and CAMP! It does not mean they are better than you, so what is the point of the leaderboards when they are false statements?

If your a previous FPS player, who plays older games like Cod4 or WAW. You enjoy playing these sort of games, because you have spent hours getting used to your personal gun, and you become a good Player! For people who crave there killstreaks, you kill 11 people with a gun your not long term used to, then you gain a rediculasly over powered killstreak, you get place on top with 30/40 kills over something so easy to do, seriously whats the fun in getting easy kills?

Whats the point in buying a games, if you let the game get kills for you?

I hope MW3, wont be packed with killstreaks. This will avoid campers!

IYes campers are frustrating but far rrom invincible unless you suck. The game is about winning so it's unrealistic to expect people to run around with weak guns znd allow you to kill them. Online gaming is full of people doing whatever it takes to win. Either deal with it or play Wii... Most campers are terrible anyway.

'm nor saying I never die. I'm saying when I die I take it like a man and get over instead of coming up with excuses like people here do. Games are also supposed to be challenging not tailor made to your liking.

When I turn on a COD game my objective is to win and get kills. I don't know why people think Rusher automatically means good player and camper = bad.

I've seen campers with good K/D and bad K/D. I've seen rushers with good K/D and bad K/D. I reapect good rushers BUT unlike you if a camper killed my entire team I'd give him credit instead of convincing myself those deaths didn't count or that tuy sucks. WE ALL HAVE TO DEAL WITH CAMPERS. Even campers deal with campers.

Either learn how to kill them or stay offline, it's that simple. I acknowledge and despise campers but I accept the challenge and communicate with teammates instead of dying over and over and begging IW or 3arc to help me.

Campers aren't going to stop camping just because of less killstreaks. COD4 had WAY LESS PEOPLE playing which means less camping.

I ain't knocking your opinions. I'm saying most decent players are equipped to deal with campers and others can only get kills if the enemy says, "hey shoot me".

P.S. BO has splitscreen noobs and those guys are TERRIBLE so if they are on your team you CAN blame your team

Getting kills with killstreaks is annoying, I personally hate the RC-XD out of every killstreak ever made. Yes I can shoot out an RC, but when I'm sniping, this RC just comes rushing straight at me and shooting an RC with a sniper rifle is a challenge because once the user spots you they use the boost function. Anyway, campers aren't really a problem, it's what they let campers have that's a problem. I personally think a sniper camping (or as I like to call them, REAL snipers) with claymores deserve to do what they do, because 1v1 against a sniper after getting past the claymore, you probably would get the kill with a machine gun. They shouldn't let gun classes to carry around claymores, HB sensor/motion sensor. A gunner should be running or moving through building to building using like say jammers to cancel claymores/motion sensors. But all in all, a gunner should be moving around the map more often then sitting in one place. Killstreaks are fun to have, but should have limitations like 1 killing air support per team at one time, or controllable killstreaks end when the killstreak is destroyed or the player is killed (seems logical since there is no one controlling it). Attack helicopters and harriers stop shooting at players when you escape or take cover, unlike controllable killstreaks where people spray the gun since it doesn't overheat. It would've been nice if high killstreaks overheat to allow the enemy team to devise a strategy to take out killstreak or have enough breathing room when they respawn/when running away.

LMAO!!! Read the lines of texts I quoted and tell me what it sounds like you'ree doing. This is another reason why I think most people who complan about campers are usually scrubs. You just described an action that IS NOT CAMPÌING and said the guy is a camper? A camper doesnt mean a guy who kills you without saying "Hey here I am" first. People don't play this game to make it easy for you to find them, like WTF? I understand not liking someone who is hiding in corners but you really think someone is supposed to make it easy for you to kill them?

A guy who MOVES FROM SPOT TO SPOT KILLING YOUR TEAM is called a GOOD PLAYER. A guy that your team CAN'T FIND IS EITHER A GOOD PLAYER OR YOU'RE TEAM ISN'T VERY GOOD.

So in your opinion a guy who MOVES AROUND the map and kills people is a camper too??? WTF is somebody supoposed to do? Literally run down the middle of a map with Akimbo Skorpions with Lightweight(so he shows up on your Spy Plane)??? UNBELIEVEABLE

The point of the game is wins, capture objectives and get kills. I will agree guys who sit in one spot are annoying as hell but those type of guys are terrible players as well. A guy who moves around and kills the enemy and build killstreaks is called A GOOD PLAYER. What cahllenge would the game be if every confrontation you had was a guy literally in front of you counting down to 1 so you guys can draw your weapon like the old west or some shit??? And even IF a guy did that, you'd probably say his gun is "overpowered", he's a "tryhard" or he "panic" knifed you.....

You have a point, problem is with the community what's the most said phrase you hear in lobby's "you #$%^ing camper" yes campers are annoying but as you stated not invisible ...problem is JohnyNoob69 comes through the door on the yellow house of Nuketown and gets killed by a claymore, then JohnyNoob 69 comes through the same door and gets killed by a guy ontop of the bed. Problem is most PLAYERS get killed by a "camper" then they make there first mistake they rush back throw a grenade which doesn't kill i.e. "camper" then rush back through the same door LOL....this is why Campers are hated, not because there campers but because some people can't break there own habits and need someone to take it out on.

Exactly. I mean the guy I quoted said it's not his or his team's fault if a guy is killing them by CONSTANTLY MOVING. Then whose fault is it?

I mean unless the enemy uses Lightweight, an Enfield and doesn't use cover he is a camper in this community's mind and its sad.

I would NEVER party up with a guy who uses excuses like camper or overpowered because guys like that are usually bad. Like I said who calls an AC130 overpowered besides people who can't get them? Campers are annoying but that's it... If they kill you, rage, respawn and carry on is my motto.

Online gaming isn't for everyone. Some of us deal with campers while others can't.

Nothing is wrong with camping?! Are you suppose to run out and get killed? If your in war your gonna say to the other army "Hey stop camping"? Your suppose to camp in COD anyways that's why they got so many objects for you to stay behind. Plus everyone camps they don't stay running the whole game non-stop.

Sitting with 2 claymores, scavenger and a AA-12 with Ext. mags isn't very fair. Who ever says camping isn't a problem most likely camps. There is a big difference between camping when your one kill away and reloading vs. when you are 11 kills away sitting in a corner with a AA12 claymores and scavenger.

Simple solution: Bring back stacking, remove scavenger, cold blooded and ghost. Make it so claymores, C4 don't count toward your kill-streak. Instantly a camper is powerless and will go back to Black Ops. People that like to leave their spawn will continue to have fun.

No kill-streaks have been overpowered yet. You can easily strap on a stinger or sterella (spelling?) and take down a gunship/chopper-gunner/AC130 before it can even kill one enemy. Be a team player. I can easily get a 11 kill-streak with my Famas, UMP or ACR and never need my secondary or grenade.

People please also remember this is a game. Don't ever compare to real life. Its meant to be fun. Fun is getting killstreaks and high scoring games. Not sitting in a corner playing hide and seek.

Back in the 'Cod 4' days, Campers? what are they?

They did not exist in Modern warfare, due to the killstreaks, you did not need to sit in one spot all the game, as a 7 killstreak is easy to obtain rushing...

You have a valid point, but I think Mw3 will have a'lot of killstreaks to spice the game up.
Saying that, it would be a bad idea.
