Do you think killstreaks ruin the game?

Here is why I think they should keep there killstreaks to a minimum.


Killstreaks, bring interest into the game. But the game gets interested into campers! If you play a game like "Black Ops" 90% of people on their are Campers. They depend on there killstreak, meaning they do NOT want to lose there streak. (Which means, people camp so they dont get killed.) Alot of people I know lose interest in the game, because there are more people flying around in Ac130's/Gunships, than a noobs that shoot his bullet!

This also means, false statistic.
Yours stats do not fit the co-ordination of other players, A real FPS player, uses his gun. If you see someone who has a higher KD/R than you, this is only because they constantly use there killstreaks and CAMP! It does not mean they are better than you, so what is the point of the leaderboards when they are false statements?

If your a previous FPS player, who plays older games like Cod4 or WAW. You enjoy playing these sort of games, because you have spent hours getting used to your personal gun, and you become a good Player! For people who crave there killstreaks, you kill 11 people with a gun your not long term used to, then you gain a rediculasly over powered killstreak, you get place on top with 30/40 kills over something so easy to do, seriously whats the fun in getting easy kills?

Whats the point in buying a games, if you let the game get kills for you?

I hope MW3, wont be packed with killstreaks. This will avoid campers!

When I see a camper or anyone go on huge killstreaks I don't automatically think "DAMN CAMPERS" I think "damn my team sucks". People can only camp if you or your team sucks and can't stop them. Unless it's a Super camper and in that case you can't when them all lol.



You're exaggerating again...There is only a 60% chance of a Nuke coming after you get a Harrier if the team sucks. It takes ONE Stinger to take out Harrier.

Also I never said campers are better, I said people should stop convincing themselves different than what combat record says. Half the people on this site act as if campers are good because they get killed by them over and over.

If person A camps, has a 2.00 W% and a 2.16 K/D
Person B doesn't camp, has 1.00 W% and 1.20 K/D

Person A is better. The object of the game is wins and getting kills. A rusher gets the same amount of points as a camper.

Most campers aren't very good. However unlike most excuse makers here I man up. Campers can only camp if YOU & YOUR TEAM allow them. Camping sucks but good players play in a party if possible, use communication to get campers.

One last example...IF a guy is camping with claymores, HB Sensor, a scrub would allow him to keep killing him... A GOOD player would switch to a Ninja class to counter HB Sensor or Scrambler to avoid a claymore death it's not that hard.

I'm not saying you are bad because of course all people do here is complain, then if someone says they suck they'll say "Oh I got a 5.8 K/D".

From what I've seen in countless hours of COD play is GOOD players acknowledge and hate campers but are equiped to kill them and use high powered killstreaks to help do so.

BAD players are usually the ones acting as if every death was camper or overpowered gun related, swear they are good even though they have .60 K/D and they hate big killstreaks because they're giving them up. Again who ever got a Multi in AC130 and said "Man I hate using this killstreak"????

Simple.
1. Because Stopping Power is gone.
2. Because WAY too many people use Spy Planes. They are easy to get(2 kills even).
3. Killstreaks in MW2 stacked so rarely anyone would waste a 1st killstreak on a UAV

Next time you play count how many times you hear "enemy Spy Plane incoming"

I used to dislike Ghost but if people are going to call in Spy Planes ALL GAME because killstreaks don't stack that is on them so Ghost is there.

They put a counter to every kill streak in the games. There was javelin/at4/stinger, and the strela and sam turrets and other crap. they have ghost/uav jammer and other crap. Sound whores have a counter with dead silence/ ninja. Nothing is over powered, on cod 4 stopping power had the counter of jug, and vice versa so nothing is really overpowered. There is a counter to it all so stop crying

Couldnt of said it better, it dosnt show the real good players talent, without Youtube we wouldnt of even known of zzirGrizz or OpTic or FaZe. Think of it, killstreaks can be realiable but now that this has been shown to me i think differently of the people who get nukes and like 75 kills. Do this killstreakless with and intervention my respect given to you. hands down.

That is what a bare bones playlist is for.

Campers are frustating, period.

Games are meant to be fun, not frustating.

You seems to come over like an hero that never dies and kills every camper/shoots everything out the air.
I do not want to worry about swapping to my STINGER/COLDBLOOD class everytime some guy I've never seen in the map yet getting his 3rd Harrier.
Like million times, I am a guy who just plays the game, I move area's pick up some enemy's, or I just rush. You end up with a nice streak, ''Hey wait, you get killed by some retard camping in the corner for x minutes'' yeah you can blame your team for not killing him?


Campers are a problem, I am not talking about people that are just waiting for an specific enemy to come by because they know they are coming, I am talking about people who are sitting on the same spot the whole game, now tell me, how can he be better if he got a higher kill/death ratio? You can't, you do not know.

As I said before it's my opinion, campers are just sitting there because they do not want their streak to be ended, or they just want massive kills with a chopper gunner just because no one will know where he is yet he slowly kills everyone in the team.

TLR remove the massive ammounts of killstreaks or get a way to get campers.

I think killstreaks make the game more fun. And everyone camps once in a while. If you say you don't, you're full of sh*t.

i agree far too many kill streaks in MW2 , and killstreaks like chopper gunner , ac130 ruin games .

The most legit killstreaks were cod tbh.
