I've been reading, and most of this forum loves cod but it seems most of you seem to be really hating what we've seen from Modern Warfare 3 so far. It seems like most of you guys have jumped onto the Battlefield 3 wagon or are indifferent regarding MW3. Why do you hate/love what we've seen so far?

My personal opinion is, the game just looks exactly the same as Modern Warfare 2. I would've really liked to see some graphical changes, maybe some destructible environments even (I wish). Instead, it seems we're just going to get a patched Modern Warfare 2 not worth $60.

I'm not a "kid" and I'll be playing MW3.

Also BF3 looks good but sadly people only want to buy it to "stick it" to COD. If you think it will be good enough or better than MW3 great. But don't think hating one game will somehow make another game the ish.

I've seen this theory with NBA games. People said NBA Live 09 was going to be the ish just to spite the more popular game(NBA 2K9) but in the end the better game prevailed because after biases are over people choose the better game.

I respect your opinion; however, it is hard to speculate based on a few gameplay videos that show less than 2% of the whole campaign. I'm sorry, but you made a completely uneducated statement by saying that they just patched MW2 and re-released it as MW3. I highly doubt a "patch" could hold a completely new campaign inside of it. Here are a few of my points:

1. You say that there should be new graphics. In every sequel, developers make minor adjustments to graphics to maintain a certain level of realism. In MW3, they improved the realism of explosions, were able to recreate the entire city of Manhattan, added a new under-water environment, improved bullet sound so you can here the gun whiz by your ear, and added new located from all over the world. Note: this is only based on the gameplay from E3.

2. You say that MW3 looks exactly like MW2. Just because it looks similar, doesn't mean it's exactly the same. It is a sequel to MW2 which means it will maintain the same look and feel. Hence the name "Modern Warfare 3".

3. You say that from what you saw, MW3 has no improvements from MW2. You say that you didn't see any new customization or other features. Well, if you watched the gameplay, you'll see that they have added a new feature that allows you to switch between two scopes on your gun. Also from the video, you'll see that they have added a new grenade launcher and implemented changes into the Predator Missile. You can also see that they have added the abilty to swim under-water, expanding the environment from the city to the sea. You are complaining about how you haven't seen any new customization. Customization is for multiplayer and they haven't even released any major information for multiplayer. Robert Bowling stated that they're introducing new levels of customization into the multiplayer anyway.

4. Modern Warfare 3 is set in the same time period as MW2 and is being developed by the same company. Of course it is going to be similar. Plus, MW3 is introducing something completely new called Survival Mode.

5. MW3 is 5 months away and still in development. Only 20 minutes of campaign gameplay has been released. You can't even begin to judge the game. It annoys me that you continue to say that they have made no effort to change anything when the only thing you have seen is Robert Bowling standing on a stage playing a demo of the campaign.

So you made a thread about NGU hating MW3. . . and then you talk trash about it. You are an idiot.

nah real players are getting battlefield 3 because bad company was great and they actually worked on this sequel. it wasnt last year that bfbc2 came out. they put in work. and i was statistically speaking about the children on mw3. but you must have child mentality to continur paying activision year after year for crap after crap. what a waste of money. your spending money to get dissapointed every year. to me men dont make such decisions . just my opinion

who the f u c k are you calling a fanboy? i have both copy of both games and if you read the damn thread then you know im talking about the experience with activision and there keep robbing us and we keep handing them the money . and like i said im getting both of them i just aint giving my money to activison . im renting the game and if i like it ill keep it . its dat simple. so please understand what your reading before commenting with a tarded as post .

Pretty hard to understand what you are trying to get across when what you just wrote barely qualifies as English. Regardless, you saying the players of BF3 are men while MW3 players are boys is the very definition of fanboyism. Your stupidity is mind numbing.

WTF is "a real player"? Don't use your opinions like they are facts. I have a child mentality because I enjoy COD games despite them "robbing" us?

Makes more sense to play a game I enjoy than to be like you; a guy who buys COD games yet you hate them. "Men" will buy the game they enjoy or both instead of playing a game they hate like you. And spare us the lecture on how Activision robs people. BF3 is EA product and EA is the biggest sports monopoly there is.

So leave the generic and LAME internet insults like "kid" out of this. I am a man who enjoys COD games. Haven't you been spending the SAME MONEY on this "crap" Activision puts out??? And you don't even like the COD games yet you play them, will rent aka play MW3 AND you are in a section dedicated to COD???? LMFAO! You may be a man but you must love torture.
