(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This angers me so much :argh: Were too soft; this would never be allowed in any other country. Only around 10% of the Metropolitan Police are Riot trained, so theres not enough to make many arrests AND hold Police lines. So were just watching our own city be ripped apart and burnt to the ground!.

The Police are scared to use too much force after the 2009 G-20 Riots, in which they got criticised for doing there job. Also, it's illegal to use water cannons in mainland Britain, and although the Prime Minister, David Cameron, could legalise them in an emergency COBR (a sort of UK version of the White House Situation Room) meeting tomorrow, they would have to be brought in from Northern Ireland which could take a certain amount of time we do not have.

With no considerable force to fight back with it seems were fighting a loosing battle and it looks like the government is playing a "burn its self out" strategy.

Well what do you think would be the best way to bring things back under control?. It doesn't seem a good sneak peak at what could happen at the 2012 Olympics does it? No

The National Guard shot and killed looters. They are bringing fear to the population, which is terrorism.

You flaming me in a debate is FAR more childish. Stop bring a hypocrite and maybe I'd put more length into my post.

Nice pull of a card there, you have no argument. And I have not flamed you in anyway. You are childish if you have that view, get in the real world and grow up. I like your terriost equation as well, screams at me that you are a retard. Explain to me how exactly I am being hypocritical too, if you can that is.

I believe your missing the bigger and more important picture.......

We have deep problems at the heart of are society which need addressing.
Not just the UK but most of the western nations do.

It time we start to address the social divisions , poverty along with despair/hopelessness helping to fuel tensions.
If we fail to do that , more riots like this are on the way.
Sadly we have created this monster and so far failed to counter it.
It a much bigger threat to the UK then anything else in the world right now.

I take "childish," "retard," and, "narrow-minded" as insults.

You are hypocritical because you flame me like a child, yet you call me a child. That's ignorant. The pot doesn't call the kettle black. Oh boy! I don't see where you're coming from when you tell me to get out and grow up. I peg you at 17 years old, just starting to spark arguments, while blatantly rejecting anyone else's input. Who's narrow minded now?

You have a lot to learn, sonny boy. You'll mature soon enough.

Learn the definition of flaming, then come back.

Your view is childish, how can it not be, "shoot em with live ammo eye" what a stupid comment. You don't understand the situation here in the UK, there are many problems, you are in USA. But then again you are the stereotypical american, so why am I even replying to you. You don't understand why people are even rioting, try educating yourself to form a real opinion, rather than just coming to a conclusion straight away.

I have insulted you perhaps, if you are very sensitive. Not flamed though. Through forming a constructive reply with no cursing, and I'm not even in an argument its a debate - yes, even with silly views like yours Gaspkay: - so its not classified as flaming.
