The Police are scared to use too much force after the 2009 G-20 Riots, in which they got criticised for doing there job. Also, it's illegal to use water cannons in mainland Britain, and although the Prime Minister, David Cameron, could legalise them in an emergency COBR (a sort of UK version of the White House Situation Room) meeting tomorrow, they would have to be brought in from Northern Ireland which could take a certain amount of time we do not have.

With no considerable force to fight back with it seems were fighting a loosing battle and it looks like the government is playing a "burn its self out" strategy.

Well what do you think would be the best way to bring things back under control?. It doesn't seem a good sneak peak at what could happen at the 2012 Olympics does it?

Just quarantine the whole city. Get every policeman, soldier, tank, the US army, everything and circle around London. Dont let anyone out unless they can proove they have a job, and not if they're carrying something new of high value that doesnt have a receipt. Then leave them there. Let them riot as much as they want, kill eachother etc. They wont have anywhere left to loot in a few days and no one will be getting them food. they cant steal services and they're all dumb as ****. They dont know what life is about, all they care about is a few free ipods. They're a waste of space.

If that doesnt work give every policeman a gun and taser, tell the faggots if they dont stop now they'll all be tortured and killed one by one, every man woman and child that thinks its OK to burn down London. **** them. Shooting your own people should never happen , we not on a scale which that level of force could be justify it.
It goes against the values of this nation. If any live bullets are fired am willing to say the UK has gone backwards. Dragged down by not dealing with it own problems and letting them grow.

They should be suppressed but in any way which could kill them.
