(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This angers me so much :argh: Were too soft; this would never be allowed in any other country. Only around 10% of the Metropolitan Police are Riot trained, so theres not enough to make many arrests AND hold Police lines. So were just watching our own city be ripped apart and burnt to the ground!.

The Police are scared to use too much force after the 2009 G-20 Riots, in which they got criticised for doing there job. Also, it's illegal to use water cannons in mainland Britain, and although the Prime Minister, David Cameron, could legalise them in an emergency COBR (a sort of UK version of the White House Situation Room) meeting tomorrow, they would have to be brought in from Northern Ireland which could take a certain amount of time we do not have.

With no considerable force to fight back with it seems were fighting a loosing battle and it looks like the government is playing a "burn its self out" strategy.

Well what do you think would be the best way to bring things back under control?. It doesn't seem a good sneak peak at what could happen at the 2012 Olympics does it? No

It was just meant to be a demonstration. Then, as always, some inbred degenerates think it's a good idea to smash shit up. If there's one thing that's come out of this, we can no confirm without any doubt Cameron cutting police forces was the mother of all **** ups.

I think it's disgraceful and hope the rioters that are looting are brought to justice. It just pisses me off that most people are just doing it for fun and don't have a reason to riot the police need to break out the water cannon and shot the rioters that this behavior will not be tolerated. If the need be use plastic bullet if the rioters are fit enough to fight and loot then they can take a few plastic bullets.

Yea they are suggesting that they bring equipment and police from Northern Ireland but what happens here in Northern Ireland when most riot equipment and police go, they see an opportunity to riot and loot over here Not Happy or Sad

It all started because a one gang leader got shot by a police officer, after that his family and friends started protesting outside a police station, one cop attacked one of the protesters and some of the youths were like fine fugg this and they started burning cars, buldings, robbing stores...
