The thread that was the shining light of the last two debating sections(ugh, really?) that was God vs Fact has been trashed or something(ugh, again) so this thread is here to take the place of that one.
Some extremely basic terminology...
Theist: believes in a god(s).
Deist: believes in a god(s) that created the universe but subsequently abandoned it and/or believes that reason and observation of the natural world are sufficient to determine the existence of god(s).
Atheist: does not believe in a god(s).
Agnostic: does not claim to know if a god exists or believes that such knowledge cannot be known, depending on the definition. Typically when I personally use this label I'm referring to the former.
Gnostic: claims to know one way or the other if a god exists.
There are some more but that's the basics down. I'm an agnostic atheist. What are you and why?
Edit: Thanks to whichever mod/admin butchered the thread's title and poll. The poll now makes no sense whatsoever.
That's a fallacy though. If God is omnipotent then he can do anything, including not sending people to hell.
He is not free to act contrary to his nature that is permanent, that does not change. Does this mean he is not all-powerful? No it means that as a perfect and unchangeable being His commands and actions are rooted in the ultimate good, which flow from his nature. God's moral character does not change. You should be more worried about eternity

A heart issue if you have read it means even though there is so much information out there to prove God... you of course in your heart choose to deny it because of reasons that you have. The evidence is presented before you and you read it and then say um I dont want to believe that. Is that clear?

So if things are good not because God does it, but because they are good, then theoretically God can be bad.
I think either religion and science had lie to us through history , there is no true history, so we don`t know what to believe I want to believe there is a god but all the religion lie and have different explanation from a bible, science change their believe too so who really is right who knows

When has science lied? It seems to me like all it's done is change the prevailing theories based upon the evidence, hence the scientific method.

Agnostic, I like to think that there's a god but I really have no idea.
But do you actually believe or not? Because if so you're an agnostic theist, and if not you're an agnostic atheist.
